*****ulent access to my credit report

Hi

I received a call from Freemi agent on 29 July 2025 at around 09:10.

I declined offered services however shortly after the call I received this notification via SMS: “ I, Tumelo Lesego Langa, ID *********6080, gave consent to request my credit report on 2025-07-29. Reason: Affordability Assessment. Freemi Debt Counsellors”

I did not consent to anything let alone my credit record being shared.

How did they even access my ID number?
