Hi I received a call from Freemi agent on 29 July 2025 at around 09:10. I declined offered services however shortly after the call I received this notification via SMS: “ I, Tumelo Lesego Langa, ID *********6080, gave consent to request my credit report on 2025-07-29. Reason: Affordability Assessment. Freemi Debt Counsellors” I did not consent to anything let alone my credit record being shared. How did they even access my ID number?
I got 4 different quotes from various suppliers one of which being Laminate Floor World which came out the cheapest. Laminate Floor World was on my property on 3 different occasions to measure, review and deliver samples for my selection of floor type. I paid the 60% deposit and the installation began. After the 1st day of installation they ran out of materials because the 3 people who had come on more than one occasion had made an error and misquoted me by 76 sqm. I had to pay an additional R22 000 as they had already started installing and could not move into a house with a half completed floor in December 2024. I suspect this is a strategy they execute with what they perceive as wealthy clients to secure the business and then push up to the real price once they have started installing. Today they are hounding me for R4000 which is the remaining balance, yet they have not fully completed the installation with some sections missing skirtings and profiles. I do not recommend this service provider.
The most unprofessional service provider I have ever experienced in my life and the most costly mistake I made by selecting them for my renovation project I started in September 2024. Even though 3 different employees came over to measure for installation of folding doors, the aluminium doors were incorrectly manufactured and poorly installed. I gave up on calling them after numerous calls and many unkept promises from Gerhard, Mike and Chris. The owner or manager Sungeni doesn’t respond to customers who have made payment. In the end I had to pay around R5000 for another installer called Sigma Doors to finish off the installation and to avoid having an unsecured opening over the holidays. And they said they have never seen such poor workmanship in their history in the industry. To this day, they have not contacted me to complete installation after accepting around R60 000 in payments. This is not a sustainable business if they think that they can get away with treating customers like this.
Worst insurance. I am on my 5th day trying to cancel my policy with Palesa from Pineapple. There is no option to cancel policy or cover in the app. They lie on FAQ on knowledge based that you can simply select uninsure in the app. I just want to cancel my policy.
Thanks to Ishmael Mohlala who was able to providing sterling service. He is informative, patient and was able to assist me with my premium review.
As a longstanding Audi customer, I had been kind enough to provide Audi Sandton with the opportunity to investigate the issue with the car’s CV joint, which has seemingly been replaced with aftermarket parts before following other alternatives to find resolution of this matter. Michael Greyling has instead decided not to provide me with feedback as agreed when I dropped of the car for inspection on Tuesday 29 October 2019 I bought my Audi S3 8V from Audi Sandton last year December 2018 from Werner van der Merwe, with the assurance that the car has undergone the 80 point check by Audi and that the promise of Audi Pre-Owned would be upheld. I could have gone to any other dealer, but elected to purchase from Audi in order to have peace of mind. I have been a proud customer of Audi since August 2013 and have no issue up until I purchased my Audi S3 from Audi Sandton. Below are the issues I have experienced since purchasing this car from Audi Sandton: Audi Rivonia identified during the cars first service identified that the Belly pan is missing – this was subsequently replaced by Audi Sandton The Window switch on the driver’s door has been repaired as it was broken - this was subsequently fixed by Audi Rivonia USB is not working, same applies to power/cigarette lighter points - this was subsequently replaced by Audi Rivonia Water pump leak which resulted car overheating - this was subsequently replaced by Audi Rivonia The car was sold without spare keys - this was subsequently provided by Audi Sandton about a month later Accident not disclosed before sale of vehicle – I have written confirmation from Audi Sandton representatives confirming that the car was in an accident only after I purchased it CV joint has failed recently – Audi Rivonia has indicated that they cannot replace it as the car is fitted with an aftermarket CV joint. I have received more assistance from Audi Rivonia than Audi Sandton, which is shocking as I bought the car from Audi Sandton and you have acknowledged that it was in an accident. I should've listened to other Audi drivers who have advised against doing business with Audi Sandton, as it is common knowledge that they give bad service and only hire graduates to work on cars as they try the best to cut costs.
