I was talked into applying for a Game store credit card by a staff member during a recent visit. I only carry one account and generally avoid debt so I had reservations from the start. Two weeks later I can say without hesitation that it has been a mistake. I collected my card at Game Kolonnade and have been relying on the Game Credit app to make purchases since I store all my cards digitally and never carry them physically. The app works about 10% of the time. Logging in is a nightmare and even when it does work purchases frequently fail. I am sitting with a credit account I cannot use. I have also been unable to reach a human at Game support for two full weeks. Every attempt comes back with a service difficulties message. This is not acceptable from a company of this size. I want to know if this is a known ongoing problem because customers are effectively being signed up for accounts they cannot access or use. I expect a proper resolution and would caution anyone thinking about a Game credit account to reconsider until these very basic issues are sorted out.
