Our geyser started leaking heavily and GAP agreed to replace under warranty. That was 3 weeks and many phone calls ago. They've contracted a company called HomeAssist to handle replacements under warranty. After waiting for days, I followed up to be told they don't have a plumber in the area. Not that its my problem, but I recommended my plumber and passed on his details. I then took them a week to contact the plumber. They then told me everything was arranged, but that was a week ago and they still haven't actually contracted the plumber. So after 3 weeks, we still have no hot water. Out of desperation, I've now got the plumber to reopen the leaking geyser - which cost me over R800, along with the wasted water, but least my family could take a shower after 3 weeks. Ironically, from their website, "We pride ourselves in guaranteeing that are clients are satisfied, not only with the products, but also with the support we give them after a sale". Just a string of pathetic excuses and finger-pointing...
