My husband and I were very unhappy with our stay First we had very bad service from the restaurant the rifts grill and bar Both evenings we waited over an hour for a simple malva pudding The staff was very disrespectful my husband asked for the bill they walked passed him waiting another 45 mins until he demanded it( this was an issue of race as all black customers came n went n were served politely. This was not the first stay at this hotel where we experienced the same treatment from the restaurant.
Secondly we stayed in room 337 the first evening which was okay we moved the next day to a family room 650 in which we found hair in the bathtub as if someone was shaving and all the tiny hair was stuck the bath tub also had brown stains and the dresser was sticky. We immediately called n the manager came to inspect n we were told it would be cleaned. Only an hour later someone came to clean!
Lastly reception staff was so rude again waiting for 45 mins to pay the bill and rudely questioned if we paid!
For a southern this was horrible service, never did we ever experience such bad service at any hotels throughout South Africa as we frequent travellers
