Deposit to be paid back.
My daughter was studying while staying in gauteng city college accommodation,New doornfontein in 2025 and the first payment had to include a deposit in which in total was R6000 and was told that I will get the R3000 deposit after moving out early January which never happened...I tried calling them and they told me that I'm not the only person who paid the deposit and who do I think I am to be complaining about the deposit money in which other parents haven't received too...even today I'm still waiting for my money yet there are no signs of getting my money back

Big shoutout to Oscar I wish you were the finance manager cuz you know and understand accounting very well unlike Prince
Today I got to speak with someone who understands accounting very well🤝thank you so much @Oscar you are a star I wish your manager Prince had the same skills as you but he uses his emotions to deal with queries Prince failed to resolve n respond to my queries because he feels he is superior now he wants to revoke my bursary n provide a new statement I won't pay🤞

They made me pay 6300 saying my daughter registration only to be told the branch don't have those models I asked for my refund from the 29;of August 2025 Till now no refund the guy prince from finance is so rude and arrogant, no communicate and dropped a phone on ear am disappointed I just need my money

Bad service
Finance department is a mess Prince finance manager is so arrogant and not helpful Memory will just ignore you saying Prince will call you. I have a credit balance of 6k of which they Prince n Memory refused to refund me. Iam very disappointed as there's no one who takes your concerns seriously as this is so annoying

Bad service
Finance department is a mess Prince finance manager is so arrogant and not helpful Memory will just ignore you saying Prince will call you. Disappointed
Two years ago my brother was supposed to graduate and get his qualifications, we were told that the bursary did not pay (please note that the institution offered the bursary). We have been running up and down for two years trying to get his qualifications only to be met with "there is nothing we can do as the bursary has not paid" we offered to pay out of pocket but were told that it's not allowed. Gauteng city college please explain why this is right, how is this right?

No refund no balance brought forward no feedback
The finance department up to date has not responded to my emails Memory said Prince which is their finance manager will respond and he is also copied on the email but he is not even bothered, not even sure if the institute does understand NCR as everything is not fair, transparent.

Memory and Prince which is the fiance manager have poor communication skills all they do is to ignore queries.
The finance department is very bad in terms of handling our funds when you have credit balance it's not carried over not sure why and they will ignore your emails no response and when you go to the Campus they are not professional at all as their line manager Prince is also not very helpful.its like you are talking to bricks but they are quick to demand money.

Memory and Mpumi from Finance will just ignore you for your credit balance,they don't care they just want more money
No refund and your credit balance vanished. I had a query with finance department last year in April as I had credit balance of 6k and I was declined they said that will be used for next year ( 2025 fees since my daughter got a bursary in 2024. Now in 2025 when I asked about the credit balance which I was declined by the finance department Iam being told that I need to pay for fees and there's no balance that will carry over Finance department is so unprofessional and they will ignore you and make you look like a fool Memory and Mpumi from Finance department are really not helpful and no statements sent out no refund policy
