My daughter was studying while staying in gauteng city college accommodation,New doornfontein in 2025 and the first payment had to include a deposit in which in total was R6000 and was told that I will get the R3000 deposit after moving out early January which never happened...I tried calling them and they told me that I'm not the only person who paid the deposit and who do I think I am to be complaining about the deposit money in which other parents haven't received too...even today I'm still waiting for my money yet there are no signs of getting my money back
Very disappointing experience with Europcar. I paid a deposit of R8,470 which included the rental fee and took the car as is. When I returned the vehicle, I was suddenly told there were damages that were never pointed out at collection and drop off. Now I’m being told my deposit will only be reversed after 21 days instead of the promised 4 days, because the car is apparently at a panel beater. something that was never discussed or agreed to. This feels unfair, poorly communicated, and extremely frustrating. I would not recommend Europcar based on this experience.
