I recently purchased parts from Gemini Parts on Saturday, but after consulting with my mechanic, I was advised that there was no immediate need to replace them. I returned to the store seeking a refund, only to be told that the box was open, and therefore, the items were non-refundable. If the items had been refundable, I was informed that they would deduct a 20% fee.
This is incredibly frustrating, as I was not made aware of these strict policies at the time of purchase. I understand that some stores have return policies, but the lack of transparency regarding the 20% restocking fee and the refusal to offer a full refund under these circumstances feels unfair and unreasonable. As a customer, I expect clear communication about refund terms before making a purchase, and this experience has left me disappointed.
I urge Gemini Parts to review its refund policies and customer communication to ensure they are more customer-friendly and transparent. I will be hesitant to shop here again due to this negative experience.
