On our family's last day in CT we visited the waterfront and chose Gibson's
On our family's last day in CT we visited the waterfront and chose Gibson's. My son ordered cuppacino with fresh milk, he got uht. When he sent it back, the manager, Zanele became very aggressive and told him it was his fault. My burger was well done I ordered medium, I ordered swt potato chips, I got plain. My grand daughter was given the wrong pizza. My advice is to walk past Gibson's. I gave one star because I can't give zero

On our family's last day in CT we visited the waterfront and chose Gibson's. My son ordered cuppacino with fresh milk, he got uht. Terrible experience
Went to ask the hostess for a table which plenty was available , she looked around for about 5 mins to tell us sorry they are reserving them for later for other customers , making me seem inferior and that they don’t need just anybodies business , will never try it now and will defiantly advise anyone visiting Cape town to rather go for SPUR!!! Waterfront branch

Terrible experience
Went to ask the hostess for a table which plenty was available , she looked around for about 5 mins to tell us sorry they are reserving them for later for other customers , making me seem inferior and that they don’t need just anybodies business , will never try it now and will defiantly advise anyone visiting Cape town to rather go for SPUR!!! The restaurant is intimating, but with sufficient space between tables; lively enough for an atmosphere, but not so loud that you can't hear your partner speak; and with lighting that's sufficiently muted to set the scene, but not so dark or so full of candles that you're inches away from being engulfed by flames.

Disappointing meal
I took my family there as we had great memories of great food and milkshakes. Also my wife is vegan, so they have vegan food. However the milkshakes are not like they used to be for the price you pay, and the burgers were quite small, so we were all very disappointed. The service was good, but the food not great.
