This business is masqerading as a business that apparently operates in Australia and trades as "Ivy Melbourne." It is an attractive website and sells clothing, shoes and handbags. The handbags are advertised as hand-made leather and the shop advertisment states that the company is stopping trading so is having a sale. The prices are in $AUS and the site looked legitimate. I purchased a handbag and received notification of my transaction. Instead of in $AUS the amount deducted from my credit card was in $US so much more expensive. Postage was meant to be free but it appears not! The package arrived today and was in an ordinary plastic postage bag with no return address and no accompanying invoice. Inside the bag was a vinyl bag that is *******! I will never use it. It is poorly made with a flock lining. I attempted to contact the company but there is no email address, no phone number and no way of getting in contact apart from a msg contact on the website. I contacted my bank and was informed that another transaction by the same company was made on 24th January, 2024. I did not authorise this transaction. I was informed that when purchases are made with ****mer companies like this one, the company attaches a token to the account. This allows the company to take money from my credit card whenever it chooses. My bank has the ability to remove the token. Even though it is issuing me a new card, the token remains attached to my details so the company can then take more money from my account. Be warned! If you make an on-line purchase from a company, do some research to find out if the company is legitimate. If you are ****med, contact your bank immediately and request a dispute be opened on your behalf. You may be able to get your money back. Get the bank to check to see if there is a token attached to your details and have them remove the token so no more money is ****** from your account.

The site proclaims to be linked to Takealot.com SA. However it is not. I have contacted my bank and reported fraudulent transactions. You do not have my delivery address nor details to send me any products. I did not subscribe to anything - least of all a 3weekly debit in dollars on my South African account.
