After the unacceptable experience I had this past weekend, I no longer wish to continue my membership with Goudini Spa Despite paying over R8,000 for a weekend away, I was met with rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful treatment from both the receptionist and the manager. What disappointed me most was the inconsistency and unfairness in how the rules were app**** regarding an extra child in the accommodation. When we arrived, I was told that an extra child was not allowed in the Slanghoek villa, yet another couple standing at the reception at the same time was informed that they could bring an extra person without any issue. When I questioned this, I was told that Boland could take an extra child, but Slanghoek could not “because of the new furniture.” However, during our stay, we observed several families in the surrounding Slanghoek units who had additional children—even in the 5 sleepers. Some of these are people we personally know, and we were also present when the manager told the lady in Boland that she could simply “pay extra for the child.” Despite this, I was aggressively confronted and told to pay an additional R2,980 or lose my current accommodation. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional, inconsistent, and humiliating. I would have understood if the rules were app**** consistently to everyone, but this was clearly not the case. Furthermore, the overall service we received during the stay was well below ATKV standards, and I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the manner in which we were treated. For these reasons, I am cancelling my membership with immediate effect. Goudini Spa has really dropped in standard. I was a happy member since 2016 but currently its time to say goodbye because rude and bad behaviour is not what we as a family signed up for. Thank you
