After the unacceptable experience I had this past weekend, I no longer wish to continue my membership with Goudini Spa Despite paying over R8,000 for a weekend away, I was met with rude, unprofessional, and disrespectful treatment from both the receptionist and the manager. What disappointed me most was the inconsistency and unfairness in how the rules were app**** regarding an extra child in the accommodation. When we arrived, I was told that an extra child was not allowed in the Slanghoek villa, yet another couple standing at the reception at the same time was informed that they could bring an extra person without any issue. When I questioned this, I was told that Boland could take an extra child, but Slanghoek could not “because of the new furniture.” However, during our stay, we observed several families in the surrounding Slanghoek units who had additional children—even in the 5 sleepers. Some of these are people we personally know, and we were also present when the manager told the lady in Boland that she could simply “pay extra for the child.” Despite this, I was aggressively confronted and told to pay an additional R2,980 or lose my current accommodation. The way this situation was handled was unprofessional, inconsistent, and humiliating. I would have understood if the rules were app**** consistently to everyone, but this was clearly not the case. Furthermore, the overall service we received during the stay was well below ATKV standards, and I am extremely disappointed and disgusted by the manner in which we were treated. For these reasons, I am cancelling my membership with immediate effect. Goudini Spa has really dropped in standard. I was a happy member since 2016 but currently its time to say goodbye because rude and bad behaviour is not what we as a family signed up for. Thank you

We have a booking for 30 Jan 2026 which is this weekend, we called in to enquire about day visits for the same weekend only to be told that we have an outstanding amount on the booking , goudini spa did not communicate to us at any given time that we owe on the booking. baring in mind that on the day the booking was made the website gave us an amount(R3528) to pay which was paid same time when the booking was made. They are now saying that I owe R752. Imagine we did not call in to enquire about the day visits how would we have known? On check in? I don’t have a R752 to pay the balance if I knew that it will cost me R4280 for 2 night I would have never make the booking 😡 . I am loosing all the money that I paid for the booking only because their system cannot do the calculation. I even got the confirmation email to say that the accommodation is confirmed and paid in full. Only to be told 2 days before check in after we called in they said that we owe in the booking.

Ive recently visit the spa for a 2 nights stay, after check out, myself and family drove back to cpt, as soon as we got home I called the reception got through to Emma Informing her that my son has left his watch there that was long before the new visiting started, she promised that she will call took my number as well as room number. She never called that day, my question did she ever ask the house aid, the next morning I called she was not available but I was informed she emailed me , I responded there is no email the guys said check ur spams which I did, nothing He ask for details I gave it 5 minutes later bear I mind the next oh sorry the house aid said they got nothing They so unprofessional, the Sharon email sorry they didnt find anything close case Like really now is that howu treated ur guest Im disgusted at the behavior I informed them we forget it there Please check the rooms

As long-standing members of the ATKV and loyal visitors to Goudini for more than 20 years, we feel compelled to raise serious concerns about the steady decline we have noticed in the care and upkeep of the resort. We have been members for the past 14 years, and while some units have indeed been upgraded, the main attraction—the pools—have been increasingly neglected. During our recent visits, we noted the following issues: The pool water is consistently murky. Several tiles are chipped, leaving dangerously sharp edges. Both my wife and my son sustained injuries to their toes as a result of the sharp edges in and around the pool areas. The baby pool pump was not working, resulting in no warm water being circulated. This was the coldest the lower pool has been in all my years visiting Goudini Spa The baby pool’s edges were mouldy. Furthermore, the standard of cleaning services has dropped noticeably. We had to request cleaning on the third day of our five-day stay. And even then, the beds were not made, the floors were not mopped, and the bathroom was not cleaned We trust that ATKV will take these concerns seriously and will do their utmost to address them accordingly. We remain committed supporters of ATKV and hope to see Goudini restored to the high standards that made it a premier family destination in the past for our family.

I have 2 bookings,one for myself and one for my parents...Yes I received a discount for my as they are 55 and above yet I made the booking for 21 August 2025 to 25 August 2025 received a total until 24 August 2025 this is not my fault as the agent I was on a call with suppose to do his work correctly..email send and no response this is clearly not my first time there and wouldn't have chosen this place if we weren't comfortable but I feel this is a fault that needs to be corrected and at least compensated for an a way.

Goudini is not Goudini anymore it states it has 5 sleepers but instead you must sleep op n harde bank in die sitkamer,changers towels every 3rd day I told them Im bringing my washing machine next time,Ons het naels en hare gekry in ons bed dit was nie ordentlik skoon gemaak nie,nie te min dit was nou my laaste wat ek en family en vriende daar was gaan liewers Caledon Spa of Mykonos toe Meer waarde vir geld.

Hi We just had the worst experience Eva with goudini spa manager. We booked a campsite for the boys and a charlet for the ladies so we all together we are 9 people . First of all we arrived Sunday paid for 3 days accommodation. We set up the campsite for the boys only to find that the power point has a special tipe of plug that we need to purchase from them at a cost of 240 wich we didn't have . We still setup and left to the charlet to start with supper . The guys was guest at the charlet but eventually left pass 11. But they never went to sleep in the tent and slept over in the car as the were drunk . The next day Monday we received a phone call we all need to leave the premises without giving us any opportunity to explain the situation. Apparently we were dishonest and are lying and security are were at the charlet to remove us we couldn't even take a bath or eat properly. Our colour was the the problem as we go to goudini for the peace and to be surrounded by descent people. But got treated like ********s. Lost all our money and that manager has no people skills.

Compliant: We were booked in the camping site this past weekend from 23 - 25 May2025. We arrived and had terrific service from the ladies at reception. We were then placed on plot 43 & 44. We were sitting outside by the campsite and the security's cam to make a turn to say that we should put the music off which we did, please note there were other people that music was playing very much louder than ours. That was the only time that securities made a turn by us. Further more we were then sitting by the fire and having conversation the people camping at slighty behind us was partying till pass one o clock the morning. The next morning you could see the other people on the campsite was looking at us and started to make funny comments. The one lady walked till infront of out stand and was saying "sies, sies" this was a total disgust to me because I could then pick up that this is ****** playing off. The security manager then pulled up and asked to speak to the person that booked the place. I then went to him and he told me that they received several complaints and we need to leave the site. I then asked him who complained because there was other people that was also partying late he said he does not need to tell me we should just leave the place. I then asked why do we not get a final warning and why are we just to leave and also whether I will get my money back as he is forcing us to leave now. He said we wont get the money back and we should see that we leave. The people with me started to get frustrated because he also did not have a manner to speak to me. I then started packing and left the resort. I could see from what was happening around us that the people that camp there is regulars and they know each other. And my biggest disgust was the fact that the Security Manager could not be decent with us and demanded that we leave without a warning. I would like to require that my money for the 2 plots for the Saturday gets paid back as I did not have the use of the resort for that day. Also I would like the Security Manager that was on duty be approached about his way toward coloured people. He should treat people with respect. I know the resort cant be held accountable for the ****** of their visitors , but this should also be acknowledged. We are all working towards a better South Africa but the way things was handled was true ****** which I have not seen before.
