Good day I took my car to BMW Emalahleni on the 16/12/2019 after i was given a quotation of +60k that i was asked to pay 50% for parts before they start fixing the car which i gladly paid. problem starts when i go to collect my car and it was smoking badly. too cut a long story short i still don't have my car with me till today and its kind of difficult to get by as i use it for work. I am in communication with BMW customer service but so far nothing is happening. Its costing me a lot of money to get a cab every time i need to go to a meeting or any were for that matter. help me please

I bought a 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee from Daly BMW in Klerksdorp, on the 25th of February 2019, on Friday 1st of March the Transmission was very low, also there was no coolant on the expansion tank I noticed that when I saw smoke coming from the bonnet and the coolant warning showing on screen. I reported the car to then, I then took the car to Anold Chatz near me, they told me the expansion tank cracked they needed to order it, at that time it stayed for a week and I had no transport using public transport, I was the one making calls, no one was helping me with the issue. I had to fight till almost 2 weeks later then they issued with curtesy car. Fast forward the car stayed till 2nd of April 2019 since the part was on back order. Fast forward again 6 April 2019 the car started showing intimated issues where the car shows “Service Shift” or “Service Suspension” and all warning lights just come on, the gong will keep on buzzing, the gauges won’t work, the driver display turns off and the car doesn’t switch off if that happens while the engine is running. if the car was off when that happens it wouldn’t start some errors displayed are “Low Oil Pressure”, “AWD Overheated reduced performance”, "Service Shift”, “Service Air Suspension” or all of them one after another followed by “No Bus”. This started on Saturday 6 April which was less than a week the car was returned from the repairs from Jeep, I notified both of George Montsi (Salesman) and Barnie deVilliers(his manager) via WhatsApp and George advised I should take it to Jeep for reset. It went off and occurred again on the following Saturday while I was on the road, I took it to Anold Chatz where they told me their diagnosis machine is broken the referred me to their branch in Cons*****ia Kloof where they did the reset and told me the car had many errors. The car was fine till the next day Sunday where it started showing the errors and switched off display just outside my complex. I had to wait on the road for it to come back then returned to park it. Tried it Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday it was fine, then Thursday 18 April 2018 I gave it to my wife who called me in the morning telling me she was stuck with the car not responding doing the same things, I then sent WhatsApp on the group also mentioning that I had a trip the following morning of which there was no response from either of them. I called George on WhatsApp as well as using my mobile there was no answer. On Friday, three times on the route on N3 freeway the while driving I experienced the same issues I was stuck on average 45 minutes per incident, anything could’ve happened to me and my family during that time. The issue again reoccured Thursday 25th of April 2019 morning briefly I even booked it in and got Tuesday 30 April 2019 at Jeep Chrysler Sandton, but the car wouldn’t start when I wanted to drive home from work on Thursday 25th of April afternoon I ended up leaving it at work and took Taxify home. I sent an email to them and spoke to George via WhatsApp, asking them to address the issue. There was no response. Friday the whole day I was the one pushing George on WhatsApp who told me stories shifting blame to Anold Chatz but at the end the he kept quite till today.

If i could give it ZERO stars I would ! I’ve never thought a dealership can scheme the way they do in order to sell the sales manager’s personal motorcycle. I’ve bought a motorcycle from Daly Motorrad in Klerksdorp with under 7000km , when it arrived it had a fault indication which I was told goes away when u ride it , I found that it was the battery which was faulty and had it replaced at my own cost , a week later while riding to work the chain broke off and caused additional damage to the motorcycle , the 3rd week I had it inspected and found brake pads were finished , yet I was told the motorcycle was serviced before it left the dealership , the sales manager pretended to be someone else when I called him initially, only when he realized I figured everything out he admitted that he was the previous owner , I then told him I wanna cancel the deal (Financing) he told me I can try and see how far i come , since he’s the “highest ranking” at the dealership , everyone else is following his orders, I’m trying to get the attention of the Director Andrew Daly

This was my 3rd car purchased from a BMW dealership and this was by far the best experience. Barnie De Villiers and Christo Kruger, hats off to these fine gentlemen. These guys went out of their way and was nothing short of spectacular. I found a couple faults on the car and they were ever to happy to get these rectified. Amazing stuff gentlemen, keep it up... the SA service industry can take a page out of your book. God Bless.
