I am so disappointed in your review, as I feel it is biased and unfair. I have never forced you to buy any items without your approval. We have always had your best interest at heart, and have gone out of our way to ensure that your needs are met, as well as those of our guests. We do not claim to be perfect, but we do pride ourselves in offering exceptional service to our clients. We always take accountability for any failings, and go out of our way to fix our errors, when it happens. I would have thought that if you were so unhappy, that you would have spoken to me, but sadly, you chose instead to discredit our business on social media. Regarding your comment of us buying things without your approval: - the guest that stayed at your apartment in July asked for an iron and an ironing board, which we purchased and communicated such to you, and to my dismay, you were not happy about it, and so I told your brother that we would collect the items upon the guest’s departure, which we did, but then when I spoke to you, and explained that they are necessary items to have, you said we should return them to your apartment, which we duly did. All inventory that has been issued has been discussed with you, and agreed by yourselves, including the hangers, mug, side plates and wine glasses, as well as the racks fitted inside the bathroom cupboard. I sincerely apologize for the billing issue, once again, and, as I previously explained to you, 2 accounts were opened at the same time, and our admin made a mix up with the 2 account numbers, which was corrected. It was an honest mistake and not done intentionally, and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may have caused you. Your apartment was cleaned on 14.08.25 for a guest arriving on 15.08.25 and again on 18.08.25 after the guest checked out. On both occasions the stoep/patio floors were washed. In fact, they are washed at each and every clean. We did not know about your arrival, otherwise the housekeeper would have gone to the unit on Thursday to check for any dust on the patio, and would have arranged for it to be swept, as wind is a normal occurrence at the KZN South Coast, and as your unit is right on the seaside, it will be susceptible to sand blowing in due to winds. On Wednesday and Thursday winds of 27km/h were recorded in the Ramsgate area, which would have blown sand from the beach, and in all likelihood, onto your stoep/patio. Furthermore, there was maintenance being done at the unit above yours during the whole of last week, which would have further aggravated the dust on your patio. We are not aware that you have had pine gel on your wall each time you come here, as you have never before complained about this? Our housekeepers checked and advised that they found 2 or 3 very small, splash type marks, against the wall, between the 2 bedrooms. The cleaner says she cleaned a mark on the wall, and unfortunately didn’t see that she had not wiped the pine gel off properly. We are so sorry about that, but at least we know it isn’t dirt, and it can very easily be wiped off. We thank you for your past patronage and wish you every success for the future.
