Dont book with Greyhound!
Worse experience ever. 2 months ago a friend and I called in requesting a refund. We were told to send an email to refunds@greyhound.co.za then get told months later that no one actually mans that line. What's supposed to happen? Spoke to Kyle McPherson multiple times over email all we keep getting back is "waiting for my manager" who has either knocked off or too busy to attend to us. R6 000 is a lot of money!

Dont book with Greyhound!

We are a very small business that bought Heat Tracing OIl from Greyhound Lubricants South Africa only a few days ago. We were assured by the Sales person that this is the proper Oil that we were looking for. We paid and collected the oil from them and delivered it to the end user. The end user was not happy with the oil and only a day after we tried to return the oil to them and they responded back to us with the following they hadn't even seen on expected the oil from us yet. Dear Sir/Madam, I trust this email finds you well. We value the partnership we have initiated with Vula Singene (Pty) Ltd, and it's essential for us to maintain clarity in our dealings. Chain of events: We received your online inquiry on 3-Oct-2023 via Greyhound Lubricants’ web inquiry; >> VG 150 SYNTHETIC OIL QTY 10 >> VG 220 SYNTHETIC OIL QTY 10 >> SHELL HEAT TRANSFER OIL S2 QTY 15 Our website is very explicit to explain that we are an independent brand, Greyhound Lubricants, and we solely offer and distribute Greyhound Lubricants’ brand only; Therefore, responding to your online inquiry to Greyhound Lubricants, on 4-Oct-2023 we responded with the detailed quotation for the range of the Greyhound Lubricants’ products; You have accepted the quote, i.e. the proposed product range and the offered pricing, over the phone and by means of paying: R55,000.00 on 9-Oct-2023 R13,610.02 on 9-Oct-2023 R24,000.00 on 10-Oct-2023 R6,805.01 on 11-Oct-2023 You company arranged your own courier company to collect all the products, which took place on 13-Oct-2023 You requested the return of heat transfer oil to us on 18-Oct-2023, on the grounds, that the supp**** product is not Shell Addressing your request for the return Your request for a return poses a number of concerns from our end. We have supp**** the products within the general supply terms and conditions and in accordance with the quote, which you accepted. Moreso, Greyhound Heat Transfer Oil 32 is a technologically advanced product, which requires correct storing and transportation conditions; its exposure to elements, may heavily compromise product’s integrity. In other words, the exposure to open sun light and heat, rains, water condensation, dust, etc., may result in compromising the additive pack, water content and particle count in the product; for those reasons we clearly stipulate in our terms and conditions, that we strictly limit returns of industrial product to 24 hours. Given the above, and prioritizing the quality assurance we provide to all our clients, we find ourselves unable to accept the return of the Heat Transfer 32 oil. Reintroducing such products back into our inventory, with the uncer*****ies outlined, would compromise our commitment to delivering products of the highest quality, which our company stives for. I understand this might not be the ideal resolution you hoped for. Still, it's imperative for both our organizations to uphold standards and ensure that the products we distribute are of uncompromised quality.
