Members section has deteriorated from the time race coast and Hollywood took over. I was an owner and member until 2019 and the service we got was great. No longer the case as I am trying to get answers from the western cape and the ladies in durban with no luck. Phone and emails are not attended to. Hollywood or race coast are not interested in the ordinary man on the street or ordinary R1000 member. Now it's about glamour and the big bucks. This will not last and this is my promise. Some older punters have observed this and already giving up this elitist game.

We are a disabled family that was invited to the gold cup by interbet was my worst experience. The entry for disabled people was pathetic. We spent an hour driving around from pillar to post for the disabled entry. We called interbet and their service was poor. So we called the racecourse who had no system. We had to actually put on of the guards on the car to speak to the others at the entry of the ramp going in. We eventually got in. No assistance to the champion room. When we got there hungry the food was poor. The meat was in huge pieces and there was a shortage of utensils to dish food that people used their hands. This was most unhygienic. We had no service at the tables and had to do table c****s ourselves

This morning I went for my walk around the course. I then decided to visit the Golf ⛳️ shop. I was eyeing the Birdie red shirt for my dustbin. The shirt had a tag with no price. So European guy Cyril Frank came to my rescue , he said the price was R400. I said wow , whilst he busy on the cellphone, he said how much you want to pay and As I was deciding he said You Want it for FREE. I responded, aybo. I told him this is Valentines day, I would understand if u were hitting on me. Nevertheless he just got my pressure up. Today's day if you are selling you need to be nice not naughty or obnoxious. Cyril Frank, your manners suck, excuse my French.

Bad experience - I am not going again to Durban July My jacket and a long sleeve blouse was stolen and 2 pair of glasses. My night was spoiled and all good time I had. Security was useless to help. They allowed a group of guys to dance on the stage flour and this is how they took everyone's attention and belongings. I insist that group is investigated. I reported my stolen items but seems that all of the security was not interested and useless to help. I am not going there again because my safety is more precious. I paid R220 + R220 for my girlfriend. I got almost nothing included for that money. There was not much of choice of drinks and food or music. I did not go there to support Vodacom, Samsung, Dstv, Hunters or Amstel. Your choice is not focusing on people's choices but on making money. I travel all the way from Johannesburg . Was waste of time and money.
