GROBBIES IS UNTRUSTWORTH AND UNRELIABLE

The owner of Grobs Lodge in Northam, C.J. Grobler also hires out a TLB. I have a plot in Northam and went to my plot on Wednesday 24/06/2020 as I needed some work done. Part of the work I needed to do was to sc**** my driveway and clear some overgrown wild grass. I was referred to Grobbie and called him regarding hiring of his TLB for a few hours. At approximately 09:00, Grobbie came out to my plot, inspected the work needed to be done and quoted me an hourly rate. He advised that the work wouldn't be more than 2 or 3 hours. I was quite happy with this and agreed to meet Grobbie at my plot at 07:00 on Thursday 25/06/2020. At 16:30 on Wednesday afternoon, 24/06/2020, I received a phone call from Grobbie to say that he had was booked with someone else for the whole day on Thursday 25/06/2020 and that he wouldn't be able to do the job for me. He also told me that he was "DOING ME A FAVOUR" as bookings were normally for a whole day. He however, did not tell me this at the time of our initial discussion. On Thursday morning on leaving my plot, I drove past Grobbies Lodge only to see his TLB standing outside which means that he was untruthful when he called me on Wednesday afternoon to cancel our booking. This has led me to believe that Grobbie is not a person who can be trusted and is untruthful. He is also unethical in his dealings with prospective clients. I would not recommend that this man or his company is trustworthy. He is has also proved himself to be unreliable!!!
