WORST IN BUSINESS
Horrible services disrespectful and i have a direct brother who had his things moved from his room as he was on duty without consent nothing. if you looking a holiday home and this is not the place for you. whos going to refund him the money that is now missing ?

Fraudulent establishment
What a terrible experience we had.The owners are untrustworthy and showed us fraudulent behaviour,we had to call Police backup to get our refund.I would not recommend this establishment to anyone

Very bad!!!!!!
The owner and his wife are the most rude people I've met in my life. A terrible experience, my company booked 15 guys there and uppon our arrival the owners started instructing the staff to empty rooms (take out other guests personal belongings) to make space for us. If you dare ask what's going on you get threatened and eventually some of us were told to f@ck off.

Very bad!!!!!!
The owner and his wife are the most rude people I've met in my life. GROBBIES IS UNTRUSTWORTH AND UNRELIABLE
The owner of Grobs Lodge in Northam, C.J. Grobler also hires out a TLB. I have a plot in Northam and went to my plot on Wednesday 24/06/2020 as I needed some work done. Part of the work I needed to do was to sc**** my driveway and clear some overgrown wild grass. I was referred to Grobbie and called him regarding hiring of his TLB for a few hours. At approximately 09:00, Grobbie came out to my plot, inspected the work needed to be done and quoted me an hourly rate. He advised that the work wouldn't be more than 2 or 3 hours. I was quite happy with this and agreed to meet Grobbie at my plot at 07:00 on Thursday 25/06/2020. At 16:30 on Wednesday afternoon, 24/06/2020, I received a phone call from Grobbie to say that he had was booked with someone else for the whole day on Thursday 25/06/2020 and that he wouldn't be able to do the job for me. He also told me that he was "DOING ME A FAVOUR" as bookings were normally for a whole day. He however, did not tell me this at the time of our initial discussion. On Thursday morning on leaving my plot, I drove past Grobbies Lodge only to see his TLB standing outside which means that he was untruthful when he called me on Wednesday afternoon to cancel our booking. This has led me to believe that Grobbie is not a person who can be trusted and is untruthful. He is also unethical in his dealings with prospective clients. I would not recommend that this man or his company is trustworthy. He is has also proved himself to be unreliable!!!

Horrible!! Would never visit
I would not even recommend the 1 star but a zero as there was no option I chose that rating. The facilities are not at all as depicted on the travel ground website or their oun website. It should not even be called a lodge but a hostel in my view. It is not clean, we were given rooms and it seems they are not usually used. The beds are very uncomfortable, one of those sunk in, from the cheap shops. The linen and towels, could be sworn are 100years old. With I'll fitting inner. In one of the rooms was an empty alcohol bottle and crumbs. I felt as though we were not welcome, the atmosphere suggested it. We were there with kids and on the 1st nights were gunshots in the yard. The workers were the only good thing about the place, but they seemed to not know much or were afraid. I strongly do not recommend this place to anyone.
