Bought an NP200 DCi from an dealer in JHB. Had some issues after collection but it got sorted with the help of Nissan SA. Thought I would the same experience with service at Group 1 Nissan Uitenhage. But it was the exited opposite they did the 15000km service and sorted out the fuel gauge issue no problem. Two weeks afterwards had an issue with my rear tail gate, called them. They told me to make turn after 12 the same day. They took the vehicle into the workshop and sorted it out with out issues within 35mins.With out the need of an appointment or waiting.

On the 14th of March 2019 I took delivery of a Renault car from Uitenhage Nissan. Less than a week later I had some issues; I was smelling brake fluid the brake fluid was leaking out ever everywhere because of a perished seal in the brake fluid cap. I the sales person the car was collected promptly after I described the severity of the issue. A courtesy car was also given. I received the car back and they told me it had it been fixed but I still had the same problem; brake fluid leaking out everywhere. Upon phoning the salesperson again I was told that it was okay. Nothing would happen I could drive the car like that. I had to inform them that the seal had not been replaced. I had to nag and nag and phone and beg for the seal. Driving 90kms a day with a baby in the car. My husband had to top it up daily. I phoned to Nissan SA about it like I did with many other instances. After another phone call to the sales person I received something for a Micra, which was obviously useless. When it was eventually ready, a very long time after they came to put it on at my house. I had to loose all my decency first. I also waited more than three weeks for number plates which they told me they would come deliver. After receiving a fine for that I had to travel to Uitehage to collect the number plates. I live more than 70kms from Uitenhage; it is far out for me. Now let me mention I had to sit at the side of the road with the baby in the car for the traffic official did not want to let me go because of the number plate issue. In this time I also noticed that the car that had been delivered to me had not been serviced in over a year. That is something they should have checked before delivering it to me. I mean they are a reputable dealer. The salesman arranged that the car be collected and told me that it would have been serviced at Renault . I receive the car back my smash and grab was also done and during this time. I receive the book and the car back. They backdated the date of service and the kilometers. Everything seemed legit and it didn't seem like a big deal. Today, on the 9th of March, my car went for a 60 000km service at Renault and according to them the car was never serviced before as stated in the service book, and by Nissan Uitenhage. I checked the stamp on the previous service in The service book and it said it was done in Stellenbosch. Thank car didn't go to Stellenbosch, so it was probably just faked in the booklet. They told me it was done in Port Elizabeth. The Elizabeth branch has no record of this. Before this was discovered it rained in. The car was sent back multiple times due to this leaking at one of the passenger DOORS. It smelled bad inside. I complained plenty of times which was completely unnecessary since I bought a car from a reputable dealer which was obviously not that reputable at all. I might fail to name all of the issues I had since I had so many. One day I bent down and I found rust on the inside of the front driver's door. Can you imagine that? 2017 car with rust on in the year 2019... That's the quality you get from Nissan I could do it all over I would never support them ever again and I would advise anyone to do the same unless you check every possible issue you could have with buying a secondhand piece of junk elsewhere. I paid 8 and a half thousand for a service plan and that was only one service. I asked until today for proof on paper with regards to the services I paid for. Sales person still hasn't delivered anything legit. I Phoned Nissan South Africa and I was told that they cannot help me since a Renault is a foreign car even though they sell it. They cannot help me I should contact Renault . They logged all the previous complaints. The lady said that Renault should take on the sales person of Nissan. They cannot investigate with regards to a Renault car. It's group 1 Nissan Datsun and Renault. How does that one work? Matthew Luke Moore sales person of the year...

I am never ever taking my car back to Group 1 Nissan Uitenhage for service. They used an electric drill to fasten all the wheel nuts. As if that's not bad enough they used the darn thing again to fasten Lock nut. As if that's not bad enough too, the broke the Lock nut key.
Ay man, this is not professional at all!!
