My family and I have had a very disappointing experience with Group 7 Realty, specifically with the agent, Naveshni. Although our lease agreement mentions a fee for extending the lease, the agent never contacted us at the end of the 12-month period to ask whether we were renewing or extending. A full year later, after we submitted proper notice, we were informed that a fee would be deducted from our deposit — something that had never been communicated upfront. We moved out on 30 September, yet the agent did not meet us on the day of handover. She only viewed the property two weeks later. For months, we had to repeatedly follow up just to get simple answers about our deposit. Each time, we were told to wait for contractors who only arrived around two months after we moved out. During this time, the communication from the agent was extremely unprofessional. She told us the house was left in a “disgusting” state, which we strongly disagree with. She was unnecessarily rude to my mother, repeatedly telling her she was “not listening”, instead of offering proper feedback or timelines. Even when asked politely for updates, the responses were dismissive, delayed, or attributed to personal issues, and we only received replies when we followed up again. Based on our experience, I cannot recommend Group 7 Realty. I hope they improve their communication, professionalism, and respect for clients going forward.

It's not often that you find people who can do placement of tenants so well . Your management of my property over the last 2 years while I was out of the country was fantastic. I would definitely be recommending you to family and friends

A very special Thank you to the team at Group 7 for helping us find our new home. You guys made it so easy for us, from assisting us to get the bond to signing docs with attorneys. You guys have been awesome 👌 👏 Will highly recommend this company 👌

I would like to warn other clients not to do business with this agency. Once they have ur money they dont care what happens to u as a tenant. If you have any issues they direct u to the landlord. And don't assist u in any way.

My daughter and her husband is going through a divorce, hence my daughter has moved out of the flat, the agreement was signed by both parties, however the lease has expired and the husband decided to stay on and sign a new lease. The agent Nivashnee govender refuses to reimburse my daughter the deposit for the previous lease as she paid the deposit, Nivashnee carried it over to the new lease. Pls kindly assist.

I was interested in a properties listing in malvern in November 2018. I asked the agent to view the property on 1st December so that I could give notice at my current unit and then transfer the deposit etc. I was told that she was unavailable on weekends. I then asked to see the place on Monday and she was on leave. In the interim I submitted all my documents for approval and some weeks later never heard anything back. I called their offices and a lady by the name of Terry said that I should look at the place through the window or from outside but she didn't have a car so she couldn't open the unit. After my dissatisfaction with Terry's comments I spoke to the agent who then suddenly said the application had not been processed but that I could have the place if I paid the holding deposit. I transferred an amount of 1500 because she promised she would let me view the unit in the week of the 18 Dec 2018. She never held her end of the agreement and come the 27th December was the first time I heard back. She said she was signing leases on the 29th but their offices are closed and she is on leave etc. Eventually come the 2nd of Jan I saw the unit for the first time. She never brought any documents for me to sign and had insisted both my husband and I be present for the signing. We took time away from work to drive from Pmb to durban to only then find out there was an additional 200 for parking to be paid. She said that the full deposit must be paid and then only will she sign the lease so to come back on Saturday. She then went on to push me to make a decision about the place by 1pm though I said I'll get back to her later that day. She has now said she's not giving me the holding deposit. This money I transferred in good faith but the agency has not been professional or kept to their side of any agreement. She then sent me several inappropriate messages and even made derogatory comments. I am shocked. When I has asked for details of an owner I was told there is nobody to speak to.
