The GEPF is one of the worst pension funds administrators out there. Their service is utterly terrible, the two pot system was meant to provide relief to the government employees but how can it do so, if members are left in the dark as to when will their payments be processed. I submitted my claim on the 4th of September 24 and to this day my claim has not been paid, I tried to call their toll free and the head office contact number, it is not answered, system challenges are cited as the problem, surely they should have anticipated that their system will have glitches and put in place interventions to quickly address such. It is painful to plan on funds that you don't even know when they will be processed, it is a nightmare 💔. I have logged on countless times in an attempt to to track my submission and requested that they call me, but that never happened. Something has to be done to improve their service because from where I am standing, I am not impressed at all and I know there's plenty others out there who share the same sentiments. If they are not managing at this they should contracted a service provider to assist them because this is just unacceptable.
