RUDE AND UNSYMPATHETIC GAURDMED AMBULENCE
GAURDMED IS THE WORST AMBULENCE YOU CAN EXPERIENCE,THEY TOOK MY MOM FROM AN OUSIDE TOWN THEIR WERE SLOW AND DID NOT HAVE A SIREN ON,MEANING THEY DID NOT TAKE THE MATTER AS SERIOUS ,ON ARRIVAL THE BEDS ARE FULL AT ST MARYS ,AND THEY REFUSE TO RELEASE HER TO ANOTHER AMBULENCE,I HAD TO CALL POLICE TO INTERVENE.AND PARAMEDICS WERE RUDE TO ME.AT THE END MY MOM PASSED ON DUE TO STRESS.

Guardmed Ambulance service unfair
Guardmed never submitted invoice to medical aid for the reason that the "medical aids never pay for call out fee", which I do not believe. They were eventually paid for transporting my mom the next day, but the call out fee of the previous day remained outstanding because they never subitted it to the medical aid..The next communication is that the debt collectors are handling the account and that they also demand fees for their services. I am disgusted that I was treated this way by Guardmed. I offered to pay the call out fees minus the debt collectors fees, but they refuse. They are holding me responsible for that fees as well. I will not use their services again. Thank you.

Thank you to the medics at Guardmed who came to our rescue this morning after our dear friends stroke. They were fast, professional and stayed with us till our friend was admitted to hospital. I would gladly recommended them as my ambulance/medic service of choice!
