OWED A DEPOSIT? JOIN US AT THE TRIBUNAL!

Habitat Property Management, also operating as Instratin Realty, has failed to return my rental deposit, despite the lease having ended and all obligations being met.

Under the Rental Housing Act, deposits must be subject to inspection, any deductions must be justified with supporting invoices, and the remaining balance must be returned within the prescribed timeframes, including interest earned. None of these legal requirements were comp**** with in my case.

Based on my dealings, Ben Khanye, who appears to be responsible for handling tenant deposits, has failed to resolve or return funds owed.

This is not an isolated issue. Any current or former tenant who is also owed a deposit is encouraged to come forward and join us in reporting this matter to the Rental Housing Tribunal.

Renters deserve transparency and accountability. Until outstanding deposits are lawfully returned, proceed with extreme caution.
