I purchased a hanging chair from this father and daughter team , Louis and Chanell, in Tygervalley. I paid in full and was assured that they would deliver the 24th of December. I contacted them on the 27th and Chanell told me that the chair was not yet finished and they would deliver the week after - needless to say no phone call and the number is now out of service. I checked HelloPeter and is very shocked at the reports. The sad reality is that a father is not much of a role model and I hope that Chanell does not turn out the same.

Hi All, any one know what is happening with Haiybo.com I ordered and paid for one of the hanging egg chair and got an email yesterday saying they are in liquidation. When I asked for details I got ignored. Are they just going to walk away with our money?

I could be wrong, but I think this company is a scam. We bought products from them on 16 Dec to be delivered last weekend. When I started to check on the delivery, it was as if the company has disappeared. Website under construction; no responses to my emails; Cape Town landline goes into voicemail; salesman's mobile goes into voicemail; salesman (John and Chanell) removed their marriage picture from her whatsapp profile. No contact whatsoever. I am trying to find out whether anyone else had a similar experience with Haiybo recently.

I bought a spray from one the stands this company puts up in malls. Upon realizing that this is not the item I wanted I asked to be given a refund and the employee actually refused. She lied and said they don't deal in cash, after that she continued to say she cant refund me cz they can not do refunds. After informing her how illegal that is she went on to tell me that it has to be done at the office two days later. It has been over two weeks now I have been dealing with the office people and I have not received my refund! The lady at the reception Chanell is unprofessional, laughed at me whilst I was talking to her and demands to solve all issues herself whilst she claims to be just the receptionist! The entire staff is unprofessional and they have no proper manner of conducting business and I will be placing a formal complaint against them with the ombudsman. If you see them at Cape gate Mall in Cpt do not buy from them!!

I saw an advert from Haiybo.com at 54 Blaauwberg rd, Tableview, Capetown for Kids ride on cars. It was a promotional item for the amount of R3 598.00 and they require a deposit of R1 799.00 to place an order. We decided to get one for our grandson and went to their offices to view the product where we were informed that they import the cars and it will only arrive during October but in time for Christmas. I paid the deposit. On 28 September 2018, I received an email informing me that the car shipment is being held up and that we can expect a delay of up to 3 months but because it was meant for Christmas gifts, they would like to give me the opportunity to request a refund. I completed the attached refund request form and send it back immediately. A week later I followed up and was told that they are busy with the payment and that the money would reflect in a day or so. Needless to say, it is now more than a month and a half and I am still waiting. During this time, I made numerous calls, send many emails only to be told another lie. The lady I am dealing with, Chanell Robberts did not even reply on my last emails or calls. This whole exercise are costing me time and money and it seems that this company are just ignorant. I also lodged a complaint with the Consumer Protector and the Small claims court as I have no other options. Do you have any other solutions?

TERRIBLE SERVICE I bought a swinging chair for a pretty penny...horrible quality! I was promised a new chair and promised a delivery on 2 seperate dates after numerous telephone calls. The one "manager" even put the phone down in my ear. This company refuses to refund my money. Such terrible service.
