You guys don't even deserve a 1 star We paid a full price yet they gave us worst service. They switched of the rides while we were still inside, imagine we only did 3 rides after that they switched off everything. On top of that we were kicked out before closing time😪😪

Happy Island - Extremely Dangerous! Do NOT bring your family here! This was a terrifying experience. We spent R500 expecting a fun day but faced many issues: rides were closed despite assurances, and the wave pool wasn’t open until 13:00. The worst part was being falsely accused and threatened by a school principal who yelled, “I WILL HAVE YOUR FACE REARRANGED,” while calling us ******. We had to be escorted out for our safety. Daphne from HR management was biased and unprofessional. When I contacted Daphne (HR/Legal), she insulted me calling me "TRASH" and hung up. Avoid this place at all costs. Choose Wild Waters Boksburg or Sun City instead.

Incident at Happy Island in Krugersdorp I'm writing to express my shock and disappointment at the poor safety standards and inadequate response from the life guards at in Krugersdorp. On 20 December 2024, my friend and I experienced a terrifying incident on one of the water slides (the blue, yellow and pink slide to be specific) . We tipped over while sitting on the double ring float and I knocked my head hard, almost drowning in the process. The life guards' response was appallingly slow, and when they finally arrived, they seemed completely unbothered by our ordeal. Their lack of concern was staggering, with one of them even saying "it happens" as if that's an acceptable excuse for putting customers' lives at risk. The first aid provided was basic, and I was given Panado and a jelly - like substance ice pack, but the overall attitude towards our safety was alarming. Our ordeal was downplayed to an everyday occurance that can happen to anyone. As a customer, I expect a certain level of safety and care especially because the head/brain is such a crucial part of the body. Happy Island failed miserably to provide that. I still have a pounding headache and my body is sore. I urge others to exercise extreme caution when visiting this water park. Desired Resolution: I hope that Happy Island takes immediate action to address their safety concerns, provides proper training to their life guards, and ensures that customers receive the care and attention they deserve in emergency situations.

This place is extremely dangerous! Do NOT bring your family here. Consider this a serious warning! My daughter and I visited Happy Island for what we thought would be a fun day out, spending R500.00, a considerable amount of money these days. However, we were met with one disappointment after another. Despite calling ahead and being assured that everything was operational, many of the rides were not working. When we went to the wave pool around 10:30, we were told it wouldn’t be open until 13:00 and weren’t even allowed to enter it to cool off. The real nightmare began when we encountered an African woman in the HR office who falsely accused us of making a remark we did not make. Shockingly, this woman was a PRINCIPAL of one of the visiting schools that day. She repeatedly threatened us, saying, “I WILL HAVE YOUR FACE REARRANGED,” while aggressively pointing her finger in my face and accusing me of being ******. I genuinely feared for our safety and had to ask security to escort us out of the park. Thankfully, a kind and helpful African security guard assisted us, and I am forever grateful to him. The behavior of the HR and management was disappointing and biased. It was clear that they had no intention of handling the situation fairly. I now understand that it was a one-sided conversation. If I could give zero stars, I would. This experience was terrifying, especially in what is supposed to be a family-friendly environment. I urge you to avoid this place at all costs. For a safer and more enjoyable experience, consider visiting established locations like Wild Waters Boksburg or Sun City instead.
