Good Morning! Just a huge thank you to Mr Bubi Harris and Mrs Galiema Harris for giving me the opportunity to be part of the team. My experience within the industry was amazing! Thank you so much for all the support that you all have provided me during my stay at Harris Jewellers. An awesome organisation to work for! You will all be missed. Regards Mandy Proctor

Asked for real silver sleepers at canal walk Harris lady sold me cheap Plastic ones that broke the very next day. I trusted that she understood me when I said real silver after all it’s a jewelry store with jewelers who surely understand the request for “real silver” Super upset.

I took a watch for battery to replaced. Die shop assistant who helped me could not get the watch closed after replacement and called guy from other juwellery shop for help. I received the watch and left. The next day I saw the hands of the watch does not move and are ticking on one place. I took the watch back and hand it over with the whole story, but Mr Harris was not impressed. The lady who helped me was dismissed in the mean time. Got message today that I can come and fetch the watch and due R500,00 for damage the shop caused.

Avoid Harris Jewellers at Canal Walk Cape Town. Their greed has led to me being overcharged and then they don't have the decency to return your call. Their sales person promises you the world and the owner under delivers. They are not reputable but does shameful business with the public

Very disappointed with the attitude of Mr Harris - I bought a bracelet for R9,5k 4 years ago - 3 years ago the chain that linked the gold baubles had stretched to twice its original size and I took it back and paid R400 to have the chain shortened. The clasp broke recently and he said it was not repairable - if he did repair it he would only have a 50% chance of lasting - he could put a new clasp on but they couldn't show me what clasp they could fit or how much it would cost me - the current clasp is an integral part of the bracelet and without it the bracelet is just not going to be the same. He was totally disinterested in trying to resolve the issue and disappeared to the back of his shop and left me with the sales person who tried her best. I left his shop with a broken bracelet that I will never be able to wear again

I took my jewellery to Harris Jewelers in CW on monday. I wanted them to have a look and tell me what the value would be and what evaluation certificates would cost. They called me yesterday to tell me that i need to pay R3k for my jewellery. Job has been done. Not once did the salesman call me to inform me that it would cost so much, and ask me if they could proceed. I did request him to first quote me. The store owner called me today and refuses to give me back my jewellery because i refuse to pay it. If I had known it would cost so much, then I would never have asked them to go ahead, let alone leave my items there! The store owner was so unaccommodating, kept interrupting me and spoke to me in such a rude manner! He didn't even try to listen to my story let alone, try and understand that I do not have any knowledge of the process... I tried to explain to him that I do not knw what the procedures are when jewelry gets evaluated. They can apparently not give a quote beforehand which I think is absolute nonsense! The salesman never explained the procedure to me or never told me that they cannot do that!
