Stay away from Hill Start Traffic Dept in Cape Town - some of their traffic officers are corrupt! A friend of mine went for the driver's licence test on 5 Jan'22. A female officer went on the road with this person and failed the person for observation - whatever that means! But back at the traffic dept my friend was offered a "work around" that will cost R3000.00 to still get the driver's licence. Its clear that some of their traffic officers are targeting some members from the public, fail them on purpose and then try to bribe them out of R3000 for the licence. It is shameful!
Avoid Harris Jewellers at Canal Walk Cape Town. Their greed has led to me being overcharged and then they don't have the decency to return your call. Their sales person promises you the world and the owner under delivers. They are not reputable but does shameful business with the public
MTN South Africa has now embarked on sending you a SMS every 3-4 hrs to say your data bundle is depleted. Even through the night while you try to sleep !!! They don't even check that a new bundle has been purchased. Are they that desperate? Phoned their call centre, got a reference number but the SMS don't stop! Time to swap to another provider.
On Sunday, 17 Apr'16, at about 11h00 we entred the MTN shop at Canal Walk. We were received by an MTN employee who was helpful until the point we had to wait for a consultant. The shop had 3 rows of chairs available for waiting customers but no point system or proper waiting line of any sorts. This means that new customers coming in can walk up to a free consultant and get help immediately whilst the seated customers have to wait. MTN then creates the impression that seated customers must sort themselves out who is going next for service and who must wait - causing customers to argue amongst each other. The consultants don't take note who has been waiting long so it becomes an unfair \system\". I eventually walked out and will never shop there again. How can something so simple infuriate customers? Maybe MTN should take note how a customer line in a bank works efficiently?"
