I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with the service I received when I purchased my Volkswagen vehicle in [month] 2022. The vehicle had approximately 44,000km on the odometer at the time of purchase, and I was informed that it would be covered under a service plan for 45,000km/3 years.
However, instead of performing the scheduled service, VW only conducted an 80-point check. Now, with the vehicle having reached 60,000km, I am being asked to pay for the third service that was due last year when I purchased the vehicle. I believe that VW owes me one service, considering the vehicle's mileage and the service plan that was supposed to be in place.
When I raised this issue with your team, I was misled into believing that the service had been done. It was only when I requested the service history that I discovered the truth. To my surprise, VW required me to purchase a new service plan for three years, which cost me R13,000.
I purchased this service plan solely because I wanted to ensure that my vehicle was properly maintained, and I expected VW to honor their initial commitment. I am now seeking reimbur*****t for the service that was not performed and the additional costs I incurred due to VW's failure to deliver on their promises.
