Terrible customer service! Be aware!
I wanted to sign a friend up for a Holistic Massage course but wasn’t able to pay immediately. There was a 60% off (R1999) special running at the time for the Holistoc Massage course. I was told that if I pay in a few days that I will still qualify for the special.
There was no specials for the next month posted yet so I really wanted the deal. Sadly I wasn’t able to get the money together at the time, but assured Bronique that I will be paying as soon as I was able to and she seemed fine with agreement.
Then out of the blue my friend thanked me as he received the course materials via courier. I was puzzled because I had not made payment. Seems like they dispatched the materials without receiving payment which was very kind of them because my friend could start studying so long whist I tried to get the money together to pay for the course.
But once the course material was delivered Bronique started calling and sending WhatsApp messages daily requesting the money. She clearly made a mistake by sending course material without receiving payment and had to account for the money and it started turning very unpleasant.
I would also like to add they the course material is shoddy and substandard. Badly printed and illustrations all in black in white. Added to the mix is a DVD. I asked all my friends and nobody has DVD players anymore.
Then today Bronique demanded proof of payment and threatened me with the small claims court if she didn’t receive proof of payment by tomorrow. She then also had the audacity to send me another invoice for R4999 (original Holistic Massage price) when their current special is R3999 for any two massage courses and keeping in mind that I signed up at R1999 for 1 course.
At no point was a new price discussed or even a payment plan as I saw tonight they advertise on their website. If they think I’m going to pay a cent at all after what happened they are mistaken. I wish them good luck with the Small Claims Court. I want no further dealing with your company.

11 Jun 2021, 09:04 Good day, this review is defamatory and contains false information to say the least. Mr Smith "didnt want to" sign up a friend for the course, he did. Mr Ruan Smith received excellent service from Bronique during his dealings with us. Proof in the form of email and whats app correspondence can be forwarded for your perusal. Mr Smith was quite happy with everything until we requested the 30 days overdue payment. According to our enrolment contractual agreement, proof of payment must accompany the enrolment forms. Mr Smith's partner, Mr Garreth Steyn completed and signed the enrolment agreement contract himself, which by law actually means that he accepted the Terms and Conditions as set out on the enrolment form wrt payment. however, since Mr Smith ensured us that he was going to do the payment, we dealt with him and not Mr Steyn, as it was a gift for Mr Steyn. We made an exception for Mr Smith where we allowed more time for him to do the payment so that he can qualify for the course promotion. Mr Steyn did not receive the course material out of the blue, as it is our obligation as per the enrolment agreement that the student receives his course material within 21 days, thus we sent the course material in good faith that Mr Smith will be paying the fee as per his verbal and written agreement. On the 1st June at 13:52 Mr Ruan Smith, sent the following whats app: “Will make payment this week myself by Friday”. In my opinion, Mr Smith has promised on various occasions to make a payment for a course (again I will gladly forward proof of correspondence) which is now 30 days overdue. Requesting overdue payment by any form of institution is hardly harassment. It is called debt collection. Since the course promotion Mr Smith enrolled his partner Mr Steyn on expired on the 7th May already and Mr Smith was given the opportunity to take advantage of this course promotion even though it expired, it would only be fair to ask Mr Smith by the 10th June to make full payment as he forfeited the course promotion by not adhering to his commitments to payment. However, had Mr Smith approached us wrt payment plans, we would gladly have assisted him. In lieu of the above and all the proof I would like to send to you, I honestly believe that this review is unfair, unjust, and a slap in the face. Wrt the quality of the course material, this college is accredited by the IAOTH, which is an international accreditation training provider – but he is entitled to his own opinion in this regard. Kindly allow us the opportunity to forward all correspondence between Mr Ruan Smith and Healing Hands, as well as a copy of Mr Steyn’s enrolment agreement form in order for you to make an informed and fair decision whether this review is accurate, valid, and fair.
