Extreme costs for pensioners

We've had an issue with hearing aid brand named Belton that we purchased for my granny based on the recommendation of Hear Clear SA. These highly priced hearing aids has had to be returned 4 times to date, but simply because it was handed to us with factory faults. The unit has been overheating and has been "replaced twice" since it's been under warranty and now for the 5th time we have the and the same issue persisting despite them saying they've replaced the entire unit. I think it's extremely unfair that older people have to be subjected to paying extreme amounts like 30k for a set of hearing aids that offers them no support, poor performance and wastes their pension savings, and then they have to deal with the entire lifespan of the unit being faulty and still have to schedule appointment after appointment with additional costs only to keep wasting their hard earned money.

Please note our issue has not been resolved for the past 4 years!
