Inferior is not even explaining the quality of the product supplied by Hengro
Inferior is not even explaining the quality of the product supplied by Hengro, and non-existing customer service to go with it. Bought the epoxy pool coating from them, followed their instructions to apply the coating but unfortunately only after a few months it started to peel already. This was brought to their attention, then they claimed it was applied incorrectly... Nice way to get out of a warrantee! I then contacted them again to let them know that the colour is coming off and staining the people in the pool - having Smurfs running around can be quite funny but yet very embarrassing. When I contacted them they did not take any calls, did not respond to any emails, deleted my comments on Facebook and blocked me entirely. And all of this from just informing them, very politely, that their product is poor and does not meet ANY expectations. Perhaps that is a form of guilt by not attending to concerns... The epoxy is peeling badly that it is now even affecting the pool pump as we found pieces clogging the internal filter in the pool pump.
Warning to all consumers! Looks great for the first few weeks but that does not last.

17 Nov 2018, 09:49Business replied directly to me. Date stamped photos were provided but is not sufficient. So obviously I shouldn't have had faith in the their product and think that a warranty claim would ever be needed. This is their response:
"Good day,
I am attaching the following paragraph from our information sheet that clearly states what should have been done to have a valid warranty on our paint, the following was not adhere to, also there is no proof that you pressure cleaned the surface as per our instructions.
- A photograph (can be taken by cell phone camera) of
someone standing in the swimming pool, the day
that you finished painting the pool, with that day’s
newspaper in their hand, with the headlines clearly
visible, as well as...
- A photograph (can be taken by cell phone camera) of
someone standing inside the empty swimming pool,
immediately before filling it with water, with that
day’s newspaper in their hand, with the headlines
clearly visible. The area around the pool must be
clearly visible in the photograph as well.
Just by saying that you followed our instructions does not make it true for us and our Warranty is not "foot stoots", and then if something as simple as taking a photo with a newspaper was not done we can hardly believe that the rest of what we sent to you was done or followed.
Then for the matter of your post on Hallo Peter, with our rights reserved we do ask that you remove your post as it is un-true and derogatory towards our product and our company, if our product is applied correctly it will last 15 years plus and we do have the paperwork and tests to prove it.
If you fail to remove the post from Hallo Peter we will accumulate the cost of lost business because of such post and take legal action against you for deformation of catacter and loss of revenue.
