Where has Herbert Evans gone?

I wouldn't even give this company a single star. Ever since the original Herbert Evans chain of art materials shops were sold, several years ago, the company has declined both in stock and service. At the end of 2023, I went to the Linden outlet & after some shocking lack of service, I entered into a conversation with staff, who were so depressed, begging me to take up the total lack of any useful art materials with their head office. The same conditions app**** to the Fourways Crossing outlet. Over the last 10 days my art colleagues & I have visited the website, shops etc to find that everything has closed down. No prior notification, no closing down sale etc. We all have vouchers to spend with no recourse & no explanation. This was Johannesburg's premier art materials shop for 100 years!!!
