Review: For the past year we have rented from Hertz 2–3 times every 2nd month. Always returned the car full, clean and in the condition with which we received it. Not tickets or fines.
Suddenly, without any prior issue, they refused to rent to us, claiming my husband’s “credit rating is too low”. This has never been mentioned before, despite dozens of successful rentals. How almost a year later with perfect rental returns is this now an issue?
It’s unacceptable to treat loyal customers this way. Instead of rewarding loyalty, Hertz blocks you without warning or explanation. We will not be returning, and others should be aware that this can happen even after a long, reliable rental history.
