When they come with a delivery and the box is so damaged and then the driver screams at you and tells you that you have to accept the order. And if there is something wrong you can log a return. The driver was so unbelievably rude. I took a photo of the box but of course TakeaLot doesn't have a complaints department and you cannot contact them directly. So you are just expected to accept the ****!!!!!! I honestly do not think I will be buying again from TakeaLot their service has gone down so badly lately and the rude driver pushed me over the edge. I am old school, you don't scream and shout, i didn't scream at her, she had no right to scream at me and be rude to me. I was a TakeaLot more subscriber, I won't be anymore.
Gutted at the shocking experience i never expected from this company's online store. Before you say why didn't you approach them directly first, I did and the outcome was far from satifactory. i used to buy all the time from this company, and have even bought online from them. This time around was nothing short of a nightmare. I received a piece of fabric that is water damaged and can't be used. Another piece had the an ugly join down the middle of it making it useless for what i intended to make with it. Two other pieces of fabric i order was also not in the bundle. I immediately contacted them (same day) photos were sent so they could see. The outcome wasn't an apology but rather what was almost like a dismissal an offer of a measely 5% off my next purchase. Hello - what good is that? you want me to buy from you again and trust you??????? There was no refund for materials that were out of stock. no replacement for damaged materials. They could have collected the material and replaced it. They should have refunded materials that were paid for and not received. I would like to warn other people NOT TO BUY from their online store - you simply just won't know what quality you will be getting or if you will even recieve the material you ordered. I personally will be finding another material shop to buy from. A shop that actually cares about their customers. A shop where my order is important.
WOW, today i was speachless. I bought my "booze" from TakeaLot and being a TakeaLot More client I can honestly say mostly i have received good service. Today was a complete opposite story. As I had ordered dog food as well, my order came with the TakeaLot Truck. when they opened the truck what i saw where many squashed boxes. they handed me the dog food - no issues. then they picked up my 12 pack of leaking Tonic Water. The bottles were cracked, obviously like the other sorry boxes in the truck things had been thrown about. The tonic water was literally gushing out. I told the guy i can't accept that, he said then that is your problem. you must take it. you can log a return but you won't get a replacement by Christmas. ANGRY beyond words, I said that isn't right. look at all the boxes that are damaged, what has gone on here. Ai, don't moan to me, it's not my problem was the reply. It is what it is he actually told me. SERIOUSLY - i buy from takealot all the time, this is not the service i expect or the rudeness of the guy deliverying. WOW- IT MAKES ME RETHINK MY TAKEALOT MORE SUBSCRIPTION. If this is the service from takealot then i am not interested. And the fact that they do not have an email you can log a complaint on - makes it even worse. it's like the are ducking all responsibility for damaged goods. other than the huge delay if you log returns. Takealot has ruined my Christmas !!!!!!
Wow Wow Wod, the personlized storybook I received for my son is absolutely amazing. And the soap is stunning. I love the scent and it is so soft on the skin.
The staff are so rude and unhelpful in this Clicks that it stands out in a really bad way. to the point that i would rather drive an hour out to Herm**** to go to a Clicks or Dischem there. Everytime i have decided to give them a chance again, i am sharply reminded once again why i don't go there. Yesterday once again it was exactly the same and i vowed that this is the very last time i will step foot into Clicks Gansbaai. if you don't mind staff that ignore you if you ask a question. That chat to their friends whilst ringing up your stuff which they push roughly to the side if you offend them by bringing your own packet. And no there is no way they will put your stuff in your packet, you need to do that too. I could swear that i got the eye roll because i dared to go to her till and she actually had to ring my stuff up. I would not recommend this clicks to anyone
I have never received such bad service from a company. They were appointed to deliver my MFC car papers to me. They were required for security reasons to request a code when delivering. Not only did they not request the code. they delivered to the incorrect address and incorrect person. It took 2 weeks and a lot of fighting for them to rectify the error. They still upon delivering tried to place blame else where instead of just admitting they made a mistake and apologizing - making the situation much worse. I am happy I eventually got my car papers. But I certainly feel that these are couriers you cannot trust and should not use.
Their policy is deliver within 5 - 7 working days ...... they hopelessly fail at this. I am now on day 17 since ordering and payment being confirmed. From their side there was complete radio silence, until I contacted them. I wish I could tell you this was helpful, but honestly it is not. I asked where my order was and how I can track it. The person directed me to their site and delivery policy. .... fair enough, so I responded to the person again that I was aware of their policy but the time period has lapsed and I have a right to know where my stuff is. After a number of very frustrating emails back and forth it be, it becames evident that one of their suppliers was out of stock of an item. Why I wasn't informed of this at the time or in any of my initial email enquiries and why I had to drag it out of the person .... is an unknown mystery. I was then informed that I could take a less attractive option or be refunded, Fare enough,, but why did we have to go through all this drama? So I requested a refund ........ aaaaah yet another catch. They cannot refund you on your credit card... even if you paid with a credit card. Catch number two, you have to scan in proof of banking details of your savings account to get a refund..... more frustration and effort required from the customer. I gave up .... told me to send the ugly ****. Guess what .... it takes a further 2 - 4 days .... lolz...... hoping I actually get my stuff, even if it is an ugly alternative. But this I promise I am DONE WITH SNATCHER. I will never again order from them and sincerely recommend others don't either. Unless you don't mind staying in the dark and getting frustrated and not getting what you actually wanted or ordered. This company is frustration city and a serious disappointment.
This is a mixed bag of feelings. If you review a product, anything under 3 stars doesn't get published and waits for review forever - sad because if you can't be honest about a product then why have the reviews section? How does it actually help your clients? The next topic "in stock" items sometimes take longer to deliver than the 5 - 10 day items .....it's frustrating. Especially now after Christmas, there have been huge delays. I understand you guys worked hard over Christmas, but then let clients know things are going a little slower. Delivery ..... that depends on the driver. We order frequently, as in we get deliveries 2 / 3 times a week. Some of the drivers are amazing and I wish we could rate them as they deserve, some of the drivers are well sadly just plain rude. Takealot will need to improve drastically if they are going to compete with Amazon. But honestly the biggest issue I have is not being able to rate the products as they deserve or rate your driver ( the good should be rewarded, those that need to improve should be told.)
I have never been so frustrated or angry, as with trying to follow up on a parcel sent via Skynet. If you looking for rude and inefficient then this is the courier to use. Their 087 number on their website doesn't work. I tried following up on their whatsapp number - I got a response but the person on the other end was rude and unhelpful and the matter still hasn't been resolved. They claim the address used is insufficient - but no one has called me or even tried to deliver. I have order from SheinSA several times without any problems from their other courier companies - exact same address. No Problems. Skynet however is a major problem. I still don't know where my stuff is or if I will ever get it. I run a small company and rely on the goods I purchased. Skynet is proving to be the Eskom of courier companies and I would warn anyone to stay away from them.
We order regularly from Take a Lot. But are now fed up. In one week, both my husband and my orders were completely wrong. As in mixing vitamin pills with electronics - how the hell does someone get that wrong????? Logging a return takes a good 2 - 3 days to actually get a response. Then they want photos of the stuff, it takes them a further 2 /3 days to acknowledge oh yes the stuff is wrong and log the return. So you have lost another week. Did I mention that it took 2 weeks from ordering stuff that was allegedly in stock? So 3 weeks down the line still no vitamins......... I have been told now it is 2 / 3 days for the stuff to get back to the warehouse where it will be examined and only then they will decide if they will refund me or supply me with what I actually ordered. Time lapse expected to resolve the issue - a further 2 weeks. Bring Amazon, because Take a Lot will definitely be losing my business.
