Myself and My Friend paid HeyTraveller DC & Tours represented by company CEO Goodness Mashala R44,000.00 to book a trip to Thailand ****et last year July 2025 .He failed to book our trip and we requested a refund. He promised to pay refund on the 16th January 2026 , to date he has not paid our refund and he is not responding to our messages.

Scam These people have failed to refund my money for over a year now I wanted to rent out the kombi , only to find out at a later stage that they don’t own the kombi But now money is gone and they are not responding to me. I have been given the run away for so long now but I can’t let this one go R10k is a lot of money to some of us. Please refund me

Scam These people have failed to refund my money for over a year now I wanted to rent out the kombi , only to find out at a later stage that they don’t own the kombi But now money is gone and they are not responding to me. I have been given the run away for so long now but I can’t let this one go R10k is a lot of money to some of us. Please refund me

So this company called hey traveller, I was supposed to travel with my friends to Mozambique in January 2022, I had paid my full amount and ready to go but unfortunately 3 days before the trip my father passed away. I was going through the most at that time because of the death of my father so my friends communicated with the agency on my behalf and made sure they send a screen shot of every communication, the guy had no remorse as if a person dying is something that is planned, we asked him if we can get someone to replace me he said no, in fact he requested that I leave the WhatsApp group we had for communication.The thing is before I paid they said there is a 700 deposit, so I’m aware that 700 must be deducted from the amount I paid, we tried to negotiate with them that seeing that they are refusing to refund my money excluding the deposit, why not arrange a trip then I will only have to pay the difference…now he is ignoring my calls, blue tick on WhatsApp and not responding to any of my messages, so I need assistance on how to go about this issue from, where do I report this company, how do I get my refund, at this point I’m nolonger interested in their trips as I have fear….what if I arrange a trip and then have unforeseen circumstances that will stop me from going on a trip, they behave like they have never lost a loved one or maybe they don’t know that death exists….at some point I thought to myself maybe they should loose someone close and dear to them before the biggest trip …but then I thought to myself, I am not God, the one who gives and takes life and most importantly I am not as selfless as they are, for a company that works with people to render such services, I mean, people should know that paying this company upfront is shooting yourselves in the foot because tomorrow is not promised, you don’t know what will happen tomorrow and unfortunately they don’t care.
