I placed an online order with Hi-Tec on 31 December. While customers were informed that orders would only be released after 5 January, the continued delay is disappointing.
In a world where e-commerce in South Africa is highly efficient, with many retailers delivering orders the next day, and even cars being delivered in less time, it is frustrating to experience this level of delay and lack of communication over a pair of R300 shoes.
There has been no proactive communication from Hi-Tec. Any updates received were only after I personally followed up. Delays can happen, but the absence of transparency and customer updates makes the experience unnecessarily frustrating.
This experience was highly disappointing and I will never order from them again. I hope Hi-Tec improves both turnaround times and customer communication going forward.
