Hilti agent picked up an evidently faulty cordless drill from my house for repair Repair quote was misleading on the email at R1377.00 when in fact in turned out to be +- R1890 after freight and vat The link to approve the quote takes you to an unknown internet page so i had to phone customer care to get the real price of the repair. No-one phones you to tell you what is wrong and what needs to be repaired I received the drill and battery charger in the carry case back today Friday 17 Nov - its filthy - they could not be even bothered to clean the drill or the dust from the box or battery charger. Who knows if they even opened the drill?- and what they replaced or did inside My two pin adaptor is missing from the box as well as the dust rag Coupled with this i am told the repairs have a warranty for 3 months??? I am a household user and probably wont even use it in 3 months so the warranty is not worth the paper its written on to me If this is the "great" hilti compamy operation performance then i would think the company is going backwards and i would hesitate to buy another product from them as the service, customer care is appalling, misleading and suspect and gives one absolutely no faith in the company
