Dear Home Italia Management,
I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding a couch I purchased from your Westgate Home Italia branch.
Upon delivery, your delivery team removed the couch legs and failed to reinstall them correctly, which has affected the stability of the couch. In addition, the couch was delivered with visible cuts on the sides, which were not present at the time of purchase.
I immediately raised this issue with both the saleslady and the store manager, however, to date no corrective action has been taken, and I have received no resolution.
This situation is unacceptable and does not comply with the Consumer Protection Act of South Africa, which requires goods to be delivered in good condition and fit for purpose.
I hereby request urgent resolution, namely one of the following:
Repair of the couch to an acceptable standard, or
Replacement of the couch
