Honor South Africa
Based on recent customer reviews, Honor South Africa is facing significant customer dissatisfaction across product quality and after-sales support. A recurring theme is frustration with cracked screens on devices marketed as unbreakable, with customers feeling misled by advertising claims. Customers consistently mention faulty units out of the box, overheating issues, and prolonged repair turnaround times. Service centre experiences are frequently described as unhelpful, with complaints about unresponsive customer care and unresolved warranty disputes. While a few customers express appreciation for the phones themselves, negative sentiment around accountability and resolution dominates the feedback.

My phone got ****** a fee weeks ago, so when getting a new phone, I decided to try Honor. I got a Honor 400 lite and it isn't a bad phone, however, it won't connect to my android auto. I've spent money on data sync cables I've tried updating software, I've tried everything. My wife's Samsung connects with no issue, but this Honor won't. I drive 5000km a month with my line of work and I need my navigator to work, so this is incredibly disappointing. I wouldn't recommend anyone try an honor. Stick to the tried and tested. Apple or Samsung.

Honor x9d labeled as "unbreakable" bt screen just broke easily fell out hands at the parking and it was broken. I'm so disappointed I bought this phone because of these features due to my line of work but now I'm so disappointed.

I upgraded my Cell C contract & chose a Honor 400Pro. These units are faulty in the box. It was a gift for someone & only 7 days after I purchased gave it to someone, only to discover after 3 days of use that the phone is faulty defective. Phone UI was not responding & phone freezing not responsive.I had the worst experience at the Honor service centre SSS cellular in Tygervalley Western Cape. Their consultants are not helpful & are Huawei specialists but no nothing about Honor. They advised that a new phone had to have it's motherboard replaced, which was their outcome report.I did not have the phone for 1 week of use with this outcome. Thus beware of their promises of repair, these units they give is faulty out of the box. I sent Honor & Cell C complaint a week ago with no response from Honor. Cell C repair centre gave the same outcome that the Honor 400Pro motherboard is faulty. I insisted Cell C I want this unit returned or replaced but they ended up repairing a new phone, which I did not authorise. Beware of Honor units & there is no good after sales service & they don't respond to complaints & emails. Rather purchase other units than this brand. You going to get a faulty unit out of the box then you can't return it
