I bought a Hoover Vacuum cleaner from Takealot last year and EXACTLY a week before its 12-month warranty, the thing broke. (motor blew) I would have thought that Takealot/ Hoover would replace it with a new one seeing as it has a 12-month warranty, or give me my money back, but no, it gets sent to the supplier to be fixed. It's been 19 working days and I still have no vacuum cleaner... They said today it would be delivered on the 14th of September, which will make it 22 working days without a vacuum cleaner!
I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Takealot's service and for sticking with Hoover. In my opinion, they should get rid of Hoover or the specific Hoover Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner. There's been only bad reviews regarding this vacuum cleaner anyway so why even sell it to your consumers??
I will think twice before ordering an appliance from Takealot or a Hoover for that matter. The returns policy on bigger, more expensive items/ Appliances is appalling. And no replacement from Hoover either. I still need to see if the thing even works after being "repaired".
