I bought a Hoover Vacuum cleaner from Takealot last year and EXACTLY a week before its 12-month warranty, the thing broke. (motor blew) I would have thought that Takealot/ Hoover would replace it with a new one seeing as it has a 12-month warranty, or give me my money back, but no, it gets sent to the supplier to be fixed. It's been 19 working days and I still have no vacuum cleaner... They said today it would be delivered on the 14th of September, which will make it 22 working days without a vacuum cleaner! I'm EXTREMELY disappointed in Takealot's service and for sticking with Hoover. In my opinion, they should get rid of Hoover or the specific Hoover Wet & Dry Vacuum Cleaner. There's been only bad reviews regarding this vacuum cleaner anyway so why even sell it to your consumers?? I will think twice before ordering an appliance from Takealot or a Hoover for that matter. The returns policy on bigger, more expensive items/ Appliances is appalling. And no replacement from Hoover either. I still need to see if the thing even works after being "repaired".

What a disappointment of a brand and customer service... I will think TWICE next time buying a Bosch home appliance. I've been struggling with Bosch customer service to get my dishwasher fixed since the end of January! So here's my frustrating story with Bosch Global / Bosch Home ... In 2021, my dishwasher started giving problems where water doesn't drain and the dishwasher won't finish a cycle and ends up never switching of. The clock will stay on at 0:00 and sometimes the water doesn't drain. In January 2022 I called Bosch and a technician came out from Electrocall to check what was wrong with the dishwasher (end January) but couldn't find what was the cause and he said Bosch will stay in touch to resolve the issue. 2 weeks later and Bosch didn't get back to me. After the 2 week period, I called back in just to find out that no one has a record of me calling in about by dishwasher because a reference number was never sent to me. Long story short, Bosch took my dishwasher in and apparently the motherboard of the dishwasher was faulty and still under guarantee so this "was replaced". Another 2 weeks later and the dishwasher is finally on its way back to me. Made arrangements for delivery last week Wednesday, moved my entire schedule around for the delivery to be at home, just to find out from Bosch that they can't deliver and they will have to do it the next day. But I hve to add, they assured me 3 times during the day that the dishwasher is on its way..So naturally the anger is just building with the brand... EVENTUALLY, I get my dishwasher back, about to try it out, but the knives and forks tray is missing... sigh....😡😡😡Thanks again Bosch Home. After all the anger and disappointment I AT LEAST HOPED that the dishwasher would now be fixed... I mean come on... after all the drama???? NOPE!!!!!!! The dishwasher is EXACTLY the same as it was when I sent it in. Doesn't drain the water and doesn't finish a cycle. So Bosch Home .... I'm royally ****ed, to be honest, and I would like to know how you will be fixing this situation of mine. As you might have noticed on Hellopeter.com, your customer care/ service ratings are appalling. Best you do something about it because you will keep on losing clients!!!!!!
