Bad experience at Horse and River
If I could give them a 0, I would. We were bombarded by the waitress who insisted on us paying the bill because she was knocking off. She called her rude mamager who is an antagonist and was extremely rude. She threw the bill in our faces, slouched and spoke in a condescending manner. She was outright rude! This entire experience left a nauseating taste in my mouth. We were not done with our food and still wanted to have more drinks but all that was cut short because of Janie (manager) and Kgadi whose eagermess to get a tip created a bad experience. I sent messages to management but still haven't received any correspondence, goes to show they don't care.

RACIST ATTACKS
Black men are being attacked by white men and they seem to be enjoying it..... RACISM AND THE RAMPANT ASSAULT OF BLACK MEN MUST STOP........ ANYONE WHO VISITS AND EATS AT THIS RESTAURANT IS IN FAVOR OF BULLYING AND THE SUBSEQUENT ASSAULT OF BLACKS IN THE VAAL REGION...... WHY DO WHITES HATE BLACKS SO MUCH????? THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME THIS IS HAPPENING AT HORSE AND RIVER MANY NURSES ARE ATTESTING TO HAVING MULTIPLE CASES OF BLACKS BEING ASSAULTED BY WHITES AFTER LEAVING THEIR RESTAURANT.......... WE SAY NO TO RACISM

Good vibe and food
My absolute favourite Pub! I love going out to Horse and River with my family. It has been our Sunday lunch spot for the past four years! We basically have lunch their every week and if we do not sit-down we order in. Great and efficient waiters, AMAZING food at a reasonable price! Miss eating here since I moved away #Win

My absolute favourite Pub! I love going out to Horse and River with my family. It has been our Sunday lunch spot for the past four years! We basically have lunch their every week and if we do not sit-down we order in. Great and efficient waiters, AMAZING food at a reasonable price! Miss eating here since I moved away #Win

Absolutely LOVE H and R...our home away from home
My husband and I absolutely love The Horse and River Pub and Grill. The food is always 5 star and service is always excellent. Staff are friendly. They make you feel at home...they deserve all the success and popularity
