Beware.. NO fine print warning!
Beware of dealing with House of Supreme shutters!
I paid the deposit of R22k on 5 October 2021. Lead time was 5 to 8 weeks.
On 19 October 2021 they had not started yet...apparently waiting for some info from me, while I was waiting for pictures from Alex.
I cancelled the order. On 27 October 2021 the receptionist called and, very nicely, tried to convince me to change my mind. I refused.
She then later call back, and informed me that the company's owner will refund me, but less 10% (R2200) for expenses. According to her, these expenses were for the quotation.
On 30 October 2021 R20 000 was paid into my account.
In my opinion, any one that wants to do business with thus company is taking a risk. A company that is só desperate for a few bucks should be avoided.

09 Nov 2021, 08:16 Dear Riëtte, Here is our response to the misleading allegations in your review: Further to our company policy, we were awaiting a signed quotation, failing which your order would not be put into production. You were contacted several times with a request to return a signed quote and therefore the delay was purely a result of your actions. A possible 10% handling fee on the cancellation of an order (especially for custom-made goods) is a standard practice among many businesses. This fee covers the expenses incurred as a result of drafting the quote you requested as well as any administration costs. We have not as yet processed a refund for you and have no record of the refund you claim to have received from us. This refund needs to be channelled to the right department in our company before any form of refund is effected and is still in the process of gathering all information to transfer back monies due to you. To incorrectly assume that we have deducted a 10% handling (or any handling fee for that matter) and worse still, to claim on a public platform that we have, seems irresponsible. If you do not remove all copies of this review on this, and any other platforms, we will proceed with legal action against you for libel.
