HoS fitted my shutters and this was one of my better experiences in the entire build process. My interaction with Freedom, the company representative, was quite pleasant given his ability to accommodate my ideas in the final product design and the installation team was quite professional. This was certainly not a bitter payment - I would confidently recommend HoS for security shutters.

House of Supreme has shown a complete lack of care for their customers. They leave installations incomplete and expect us to pay for it! Their shutters are poorly made, breaking down after only a year. If you're considering shutters, save yourself the trouble and go elsewhere. House of Supreme is absolutely not worth your money!

The services received was appalling. The salesperson Sphiwe provided a good sales pitch and promised a professional service. I paid my deposit for order on the 08/04/2022. I informed the sales man that the house is not yet ready for installation, soon as house was ready for installation I informed sales man. On the 28th September I informed sales man that were are ready for installation. He informed me that expedited installation period is within 6 weeks. Installation only started on the 10 December 2022 after I had given the company an ultimatum that should they not install by the 10th I require my full deposit refund. What was appalling the most was the lack of communication when monies where paid even when I requested installation, I had to call and follow up numerous times to just receive a service I was informed I will received without difficulties as promised by salesman. The installation was done beautifully and shutters are looking beautiful but I will never recommend this company to family or friends or others- they have a good product but very bad customer service especially when you have made payments to them. We still want to install all folders doors in our home- I will not be placing the order with them due to their bad service .

In short: 5 October 2021: paid deposit 7 October 2021: final measurements taken, agent didn't bring his own ladder, used client's, which agent left inside the house. Agent leaves Revised (handwritten addition) on site 12 -13 October 2021: waiting for more information and pictures from agent Regarding material to be used 19 October 2021 (2 weeks after deposit paid): 19 October 2021: no production had even started since they were waiting for signed quote, which was apparently more important to receive than the deposit.... Although there was industry strike, they had stock to start production. I thus cancel order. NO EXPENSES incurred by company at this stage. I request full refund. 27 October 2021: Company tries to convince me to continue with order. I refuse. Then I'm informed a 10% deduction from refund for expense of sending agent to measure and give quote. I was never informed that quotes are not free, but charged for at 10% of deposit. No proof of such a condition can be supplied. 3 November 2021: Post warnings on Hellopeter and Facebook Reply from company: "Please note that the fees are to cover measuring fees and not material fees and that false accusations (sic) are posted on social media you will be handed over to our lawyers" 17 November 2021: deadline for refund 19 November 2021 17h00 18 November 2021: phone call to agent requesting refund 21 November 2021: to date no refund, no communication from company They have now had my deposit of R22 000 for 6 weeks, and fo not seem inclined to refund me. Do they have financial problems, and thus cannot afford to refund me? Or do they think I'll/ the problem (will) just go away?? Unfortunately for this company I will NOT be going anywhere else than to social media, until they refund me 100%.

My experience with House of Supreme – like others I have seen on this website - has been shocking. I had two sets of shutters installed in my holiday house in July 2019 at a cost of over R60,000. When I saw them I was initially delighted however they did not open and close smoothly and the little brown runners kept jumping off the spring-loaded pins and out of the tracks. When I reported it to the salesperson/installer I was dealing with (Bruce Meikle) – he said my floors were uneven and to use it for a few months and then they would come and adjust it. I did so and it did not improve. Then lockdown happened, and staff changed. I finally decided I needed to contact the company before the two year warranty expired and was given a run around of note (dealing with Sam Cremore – the receptionist, and her manager Herman Van Den Berg) . They wanted me to pay in advance for a maintenance visit, took 6 months to finally tell me they had some replacement brown runners for me, and told me on 4 occasions they would come out “this week”. They also told me to contact them on a WhatsApp number because “their bosses had said they were not to deal with this as a warranty matter”. I even asked: “Please come and see what the problem is, fix it and then we can discuss who is liable for the fee” to quote from my email on 5 July to Sam and Herman. Unprofessional, passive aggressive, poor sales service and without any integrity whatsoever. I would strongly advise you to be very careful of dealing with this company. I have also noted their threats of libel towards other disgruntled customers – even more reason to stay away. I will find a local service provider to fix their shutters. Let the buyer beware!

Beware of dealing with House of Supreme shutters! I paid the deposit of R22k on 5 October 2021. Lead time was 5 to 8 weeks. On 19 October 2021 they had not started yet...apparently waiting for some info from me, while I was waiting for pictures from Alex. I cancelled the order. On 27 October 2021 the receptionist called and, very nicely, tried to convince me to change my mind. I refused. She then later call back, and informed me that the company's owner will refund me, but less 10% (R2200) for expenses. According to her, these expenses were for the quotation. On 30 October 2021 R20 000 was paid into my account. In my opinion, any one that wants to do business with thus company is taking a risk. A company that is só desperate for a few bucks should be avoided.
