Pathetic Service– Urgent: Poor Service, Settlement Delay & Incorrect Debt Listing I am writing to formally lodge a complaint regarding the extremely poor service I have received from Nedbank and HP Attorneys, as well as the incorrect handling of my credit card account. For over two years, I requested Nedbank to update the payment details for my credit card account. Despite my repeated efforts, this was not actioned, which eventually led to the account being handed over to HP Attorneys in 2024. When I attempted to settle the outstanding amount, I was continuously sent from pillar to post without proper assistance. Eventually, I made a payment arrangement directly with HP Attorneys, and I successfully settled the full outstanding balance on 27 April 2026. On 7 May 2026, I contacted HP Attorneys to request a settlement letter. I was informed that it would take 10–21 days to receive it. However, when I followed up again today, I was once again given inconsistent information and told to wait an additional 21 days. This lack of clarity and accountability is unacceptable. Furthermore, the service I received from the staff at HP Attorneys, including their team leader, was extremely poor, rude, and unprofessional, with no regard for basic customer service standards. Most concerning is that Nedbank has now provided my details to NDS Attorneys, incorrectly indicating that I have not settled my credit card account. This is factually incorrect, as the account was fully paid on 27 April 2026. Additionally, when attempting to contact Nedbank today, I was placed on hold for approximately 40 minutes without receiving any assistance, further demonstrating the lack of customer care. Resolution Requested I urgently request that the following be addressed: Immediate issuance of my official settlement letter Written confirmation that my account is fully settled and closed Immediate correction of any records shared with NDS Attorneys or any third parties Removal of any negative credit bureau listings, if applicable A formal explanation for the handling of my account and poor service received Notice of Escalation Please take note that if this matter is not resolved within 7 working days from receipt of this complaint, I will have no option but to escalate it further by lodging formal complaints with: The Ombudsman for Banking Services (OBS) The National Credit Regulator (NCR) The Information Regulator (POPIA) for the ******** sharing of incorrect personal and financial information I will also submit all supporting documentation, including proof of settlement, as evidence of maladministration, poor service, and reputational harm caused. I trust that Nedbank will treat this matter with the urgency and seriousness it deserves and provide a prompt resolution.

Thulisile Langa the most efficient person that assisted me in your entire network of consultants Definitely customer orientated and dedicated More employees like Thulisile earns you a good rating She needs to be definitely promoted However I'm not too impressed about the accounts department where refunds are processed

The worst debt collectors you can come across. No one in this company knows what they are doing, they give false information and lie to the people that call. They harrass people even when an account has been paid off, because they too lazy to go see the systems updates. I paid an account off 1 month ago, uptil today my payment hasn't been allocated, and I keep getting harrassing emails and calls for payment. Despite being asked to WhatsApp and email my proof of payments, I still getting threatening calls about my so called outstanding debt.

I would like to lodge a formal complaint regarding ongoing emails I continue to receive from Michael Tshinukha at HP Attorneys concerning an alleged outstanding FNB debt. This matter was already settled in full through a Full and Final Settlement agreement with LWM Debt Recovery. Despite the account having been resolved, I am still being contacted and pressured for payment as if the debt remains outstanding. I find this conduct unacceptable and extremely concerning, especially after taking the necessary steps to settle the matter in good faith. Continued collection attempts on a settled account may amount to harassment and raises serious concerns regarding internal communication, record keeping, and compliance with debt collection regulations. I request the following urgently: - Immediate cessation of all collection emails and communication regarding this account. - Written confirmation that the account is settled and closed. - Confirmation that HP Attorneys and any related parties have updated their systems accordingly. - Assurance that no adverse action or listing will be pursued on a debt that has already been settled. Consumers should not be subjected to repeated collection attempts after complying with settlement agreements. I trust this matter will be addressed urgently!!!

Unhappy client, this company or the consultants are so unprofessional, they don't mind leaving talking alone on call, and useless WhatsApp communication, they only respond when it benefits them, but when the client needs their assistance, nowhere to be found. I have settled the account. I call them every day for a paid-up letter, WhatsApp no response

They want to know to your physical adress and all your personal details before they send any bank details but they are an attorney firm which is unual ... you do not need to give an attorney firm your physical adress to get bank details to make payments....
