I live directly across the road from Hudson's in Parkhurst and the noise level coming from this establishment late at night has become completely unacceptable.
On a regular basis around 11pm and later, there is loud music coming from the venue along with drunk teenage patrons shouting and making excessive noise outside and in the street. The sound carries directly into my main bedroom which makes it extremely difficult to sleep. This is not a once off incident - it has become a repeated disturbance, almost nightly.
While restaurants and bars are part of Parkhurst's character, there is still a responsibility to operate in a way that respects the surrounding residential neighborhood. Allowing loud music and crowds to continue late into the evenings of the week with no apparent attempt to control the noise shows a complete lack of consideration for people who actually live here.
If Hudson's Parkhurst wants to operate as a late night venue, then proper noise management and control of patrons outside of the premises should be a basic requirement.
At this point and after numerous chats with the managers the only option left is to escalate this issue through formal complaints with COJ and the relevant authorities if the situation is not addressed.
I would appreciate a response explaining what steps will be taken to control the music volume and late night disturbances from someone in a higher position as the managers as they are still young and cant seem to manage a business correctly, going forward.
