Terrible Service

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at The Hussar Grill at Montecasino. I made a booking for a birthday celebration on 28 March and personally called ahead to confirm the details. I spoke to both the manager and a staff member to ensure everything was arranged for approximately 20 guests.

However, when we arrived, our table was not properly prepared. The setup was only for 9 people instead of 20, and there was no reservation sign on the table. This created confusion and embarrassment, especially since it was meant to be a special birthday celebration.

To make matters worse, the lady I had spoken to on the phone was dismissive and talked over me when I tried to explain the situation. Her attitude came across as rude and unprofessional, which made the experience even more frustrating. We felt unwelcome and poorly treated from the moment we tried to resolve the issue. 😡

Despite the poor service, we had no choice but to continue the celebration there because it was too late to find another venue. Unfortunately, the food also did not meet expectations, which added to our disappointment.

What upset me the most was the feeling that we were not treated with the same respect and care that other customers might receive like if it was white people we would have not experienced this but since it is black people we are taken for a ride always. The overall experience made us feel undervalued and disrespected. This was meant to be a joyful occasion, but instead it turned into a stressful and upsetting experience. 😔

Based on this experience, I would not recommend The Hussar Grill at Montecasino. Better customer service, proper communication, and respect for all guests are clearly needed.
