Horror travel experiance!!!
Becareful what you wish for with Iberia. Travelling from Madrid to Frankfort as part of a ship cruise, my luggage never made it to Frankfort!!! Lodged all documentation at Frankfort. 3 Months after return from the Ship cruise they found my luggage!! It was never forwarded to Frankfort from Madrid. Problem is will only the clothes on my back i had to get some basic clothes and toiletries, thinking that Iberia word have a from of Claim to this. Claim submitted 17 July 2019. To date not reply and if you log into their cliam site, mine is on received status from then.

27 May 2020, 14:31After my last post on Hello Peter, suddenlty Iberia decided to respond to me via email. They asked for my bank details so that they could refund me. They also included a link where you can select your bank and details etc, guess what, they dont have any details to selected if your bank account is in South Africa.
After some more emailing back and forth notifiting them of the link that does not allow for South African account holder, they replyed they that will send me a cheque via the post. Now living in South Africa with the postal service we have, that option is a serious no go.
Now they are tellimg me that my queries have been raised and i must wait for 20 days for them to make another decision.
I have been waitng for 11 months already!!!

Now they are tellimg me that my queries have been raised and i must wait for 20 days for them to make another decision.

It have been now 19 months since i started the claims proceeding and I'm am yet to see any refund. I just keep get emails stating your money will be ready in 20 days. Still nothing to date. I have had around 15 of these email requesting my detail for payment.
At all costs avoid traveling with IBERIA.!!!!

Seems Iberia is really not interested in for fulling their commitments to their travellers.
It have been now 19 months since i started the claims proceeding and I'm am yet to see any refund. I just keep get emails stating your money will be ready in 20 days. Still nothing to date. I have had around 15 of these email requesting my detail for payment.
