I had severe lightning damage on the 2nd of February. Items for Impala included lights, day night switch, 2 Centurion gate motors and a damaged borehole pump. After Impala got the go ahead from OUTsurance, Dillan and 2 assistants arrived late in the afternoon due to other responsibilities on that day. They managed to complete all, except for the borehole pump due to a contaminated hole and pumping problems. They had to pull the pump twice tp clean it out, since there was very little pressure. They worked until 8 that night and at the end of the day, they remove the pump to take it back for cleaning. They cam again and encounter the same problem, although the pump was pumping very dirty water, it started pumping clean water, no pressure and then suddenly stopped. I called them again, and they came yesterday to pull the pump again and on investigation found that the motor seized. Again it was getting quotation for a new motor and contacting OUTsurance for approval. The motor was replaced and the pump lowered into the borehole 50% down to check the water quality, which seemed to be clean. I requested Dillan to pull the pump again, since I have an appointment with another Company to clean out the borehole with a compressor as to prevent the pump from getting damaged again.
