I would like to report an issue with Freshware, a company selling pots. Here's what happened:
1. Pricing Discrepancy: Freshware sells pots for R6000, yet the same pots are available at Makro for only R2400.
2. Non-Delivery of Items: They promise to deliver within a specified time after you’ve paid a portion of the amount, but the delivery never happens.
3. Poor Customer Service: Their contact center provides substandard service with rude and unhelpful consultants.
4. Unfair Cancellation Terms: When I decided to cancel the contract, I was informed that:
A fee would be charged even though I had never used the items.
The refund would take a shocking 60 working days to process, which is unreasonable and unfair.
This kind of business practice is unacceptable. I believe Freshware is exploiting consumers and violating the principles of the Consumer Protection Act. I urge others to be cautious when dealing with this company.
